Classic pub, casual, with great food & drinks, seasonal menu, great variety of beer. Everything we’ve ordered has been great… many times. Dining room and bar room & bar stools and some tables in the bar area. Mountain and backyard view. Women’s bathroom with 2 stalls, Men’s bathroom, also 2 bathrooms for anyone, family, wheelchair. Have returned many times and will continue to do so. Updated 8/2025; 02/2026

I ordered the goose burger that’s was good. My wife got the Cobb salad, unfortunately the chicken was under cooked and chewy. We didn’t see our waitress to tell her till we were getting ready to leave. We told her about the chicken and she said that you should have told me and I would have brought it back to the kitchen to cook it more. We are local regulars but will think twice about going back.

Loved this place! Came for a concert came early to grab dinner and everything was fabulous! Staff was efficient even with a busy room before the show and shrimp scampi was excellent! I had buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer and that was fantastic!

We have driven by so many times and this was our first time visiting Flying Goose. Unfortunately, we had a rather disappointing experience. From sitting down, we noticed that our table was quite sticky. So sticky that we had a hard time picking up our little plate off the table.

The pub was buzzing so we had to wait quite a long time just to order our food. Finally, the first to arrive was our wilted salad and lacked freshness. The fried oil used for our buffalo chicken tenders seems to be a few days old, and giving off the funky stale taste.

The main dishes weren’t quite showing off either. Every dish came drowned in sauce. While we were eating, we thought they would remove the empty plates (salad and buffalo tenders appetizer) but it didn’t happen.

Overall, the service and food quality were short of expectations. I hope they can address those issues to improve the dining experience for your future customers. We spent almost $140 for 3 adults for our food, we didn’t order any beverage.

We did not have a good waitress for this visit, but the food was quite good. I had the Haddock Casserole which was delicious, the only complaint is the mashed potato side was like someone scooped out a baked potato and mashed it with their fork (no seasoning, no butter, no cream). My wife had the summer salad, full of yummy greens and sweet fruit with balsamic glazing. Chocolate Espresso Martini was strong and delicious.

I need to have a sit down conversation with Emily about her Wrap. I have never witnessed anything like it. The sheer amount of cheese was out of control. You’d think the cheese was the priority of the sandwich. I could only bear to endure about half of the wrap before tapping out. Soft, extra mushy unflavored chicken – hold the crisp, and just dump an extra 6 ounces of shredded cheese, fry that and serve it hot n fresh like a hot pocket out the microwave at 2am. Goodness gracious Emily, get it together.

Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille in New London, NH you had me at meatloaf wellington. We also thoroughly enjoyed the ale and onion soup. He had the sald with some tasty bourbon steak tips and chicken. Shoutout to our waitress, Jennifer.

Great place to stop after hiking especially with a family. They have a great kids menu and an extensive on tap menu if you want to reward yourself with an adult beverage after a hike. The burgers were generous and cooked as preferred, which doesn’t always happen. Sweet potato fries were nice and thick, similar to steak fries and really yummy. Service was wonderful and fast. They also had a GF bun which is so appreciated. Overall food was great for a quick bite to eat.

We happened to stumble across this place while on vacation. How fortunate for us! This place is a 10 out of 10. If I lived near it, I would go there almost every day. Outstanding beers, fabulous burgers and the best Onion Rings I’ve had since the 60’s. They actually looked, and tasted like onion rings are supposed to, not like the “onion donuts” that seem to be the style at most places these days.
