We ordered the shrimp basket, catfish platter, and their special which was, “The Caddo.” The fish was hot and delicious per usual my only complaint are the fries, they were a little bit overcooked and not as hot as the fish. Our favorite out of the three was, “The Caddo”! Overall our experience was pleasant and next time we will switch out our side from fries to something else!

The only one that was flying was me out of there. The front counter order taker was a nice guy and really hyped up the food. This catfish jambalaya absolutely sucked. It was cold, mushy, and wet. Then they have nasty shredded chicken on the jambalaya. The catfish and fries were cold and not fresh. Hush puppies were old, crunchy, and cold. Cooks in the kitchen were visible and were a little too relaxed and calm considering how busy it was. Occurred to me that they had the food made in advance, sitting there. I should’ve said something because the sign I saw on the wall I didn’t notice until I was walking out. I shocked at all the positive reviews

Quite crowded during lunchtime, but the food came quickly. Moreover, the fried thing is fresh and crispy. I love cocktail dipping sauce.

I usually do take out, but this time I took the rare opportunity to spend some precious time with my grandson, and we dined in, since we were blessed to finally find a decent parking spot, and there was available space for dining in! Which is a rare thing! My grandson and I enjoyed the speedy receipt of our delicious food! Our order was tasting fresh, hot, crispy, spicy, and the servings were huge! We definitely requested some to go boxes!

Been here a few times and have tried a few different things. This time was frog legs and catfish. Everything was great and fresh. Someone also ordered the jalapeño chips so I had a few of those and those are a must have from now on. If you like seafood give this place a shot, prices are great for what you get. Relaxed atmosphere and good food.

When your food is ready, they place it on the counter where customers are ordering so your food is exposed to other people reaching, talking, coughing, and sneezing over your food. We hit the crab legs, and the only hot item was the potatoes. There was hardly any seasoning.

Not an exceptionally exciting dining experience but pretty decent overall. The oysters weren’t bad but lacked flavor, especially for two bucks a pop. The Hula Poppers weren’t too spicy but a dash of Louisiana hot sauce helped give them the kick they lacked. The salmon was properly cooked and the grilled squash was crisp and flavorful as always.

I enjoy eating at the Flying Fish! My friend and I arrived on a Sunday at 630pm. It was packed but we still found a good place to sit and I didn’t feel like we were treated like a number. Our food was ready quickly and my friend ordered a margarita that she thoroughly enjoyed. My only issue was that April is the beginning of the NBA playoffs and the 2 televisions we were able to watch were showing arena football and snowboarding

The restaurant decor is worth viewing if you are a fisherman. The whole fried catfish was nicely cooked and the snow crab was seasoned just right. Nothing bad to say about the food; just nothing to rave about either. If you are in the area it’s quick seafood. The staff wasn’t rude nor were they friendly but the feeling wasn’t welcoming.
