What a beautiful experience! From the rustic look and feel of being on a working cattle ranch, to enjoying delicious drinks from the bar. The service was amazing, as was the food! We enjoyed our time and selections. Our server was great and gave us some worth while suggestions. We enjoyed the “Bonnie & Clyde” cocktail and the Bloody Mary, we also ordered the fried Okra appetizer. For our entrees we ordered the Bone in Ribeye, the Fire roasted Salmon, and the Burgundy Tenderloin. Delicious all around. We will definitely be back!

Wife and I ate here tonight and it was amazing overall. Every category was amazing. The atmosphere was really what sealed the deal though. Wanted to get out of the city and get into the country and that’s exactly where this place is nestled in. The restaurant is on a working cattle ranch with huge open green lush right out the window. Couple of horses as well that my son got to say hi to. Honestly can say it was the best steak I’ve had in Texas. Everything was delicious. Upscale, fine yet very country, dining. Try the banana pudding it’s delicious. Then spend time walking around the property and taking it all in. This is definitely me and my wife’s new spot!! Romantic, peaceful, just the best experience I could ask for. Love it!

So we were on our way to Glen Rose this evening. All of us were pretty hungry, I had heard about this place and the great food they had. So I plug it in my GPS and we head that way. I tell the wife make sure we don’t need reservations. Sure enough as we pull in the parking lot she says, yeah and the next available is 8:45. It was 6:45 and I didn’t really want to wait 2hrs to eat.

On a whim I walked in and was greeted by the host, which was a nice young man. He says how are you this evening to which I replied hungry and I didn’t realize until I pulled in the parking lot we needed reservations. The host replied with how many in your party.

Next thing I know we are being seated in the restaurant because someone canceled their reservations. I’m glad I walked in because the food was delicious and the service was beyond fantastic. I recommend the bone in ribeye. The drunken tequila chicken was on point too.

Teresa was a phenomenal server who was very attentive to everything and all the tables she was serving.

Free advice… make reservations and go check this place out.

This was the first time my husband and I visited this restaurant. It is a higher priced venue, so I recommended you look up the menu before you make your visit. This restaurant did not disappoint, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with spaced tables to have some privacy. The menu was simple but lots of selections. The steaks we ordered were amazing. The service was great, not to slow and not to pushy. Will definitely be going back again. Just make sure you make your reservation, it’s a must.

My wife and I have made this place a date night regular. You know why we keep coming back? I will tell you. One would definitely say the food is excellent. The steaks are tender, the flavor hits your taste buds, and happiness resides there.

The atmosphere and absolute Texas authenticity, along with southern hospitality, never disappoint. The bar is simple yet refined and rustic. It feels like country sophistication but a place to hang your hat. They infuse Napa vibes with undeniable Texas winery charm.

Even after all that, it would be empty and without its soul if we ignored the people who bring these things to life. For the past two years, we have had the pleasure of knowing Terri. She is not just a waitress but a staple of what service and satisfaction are. She knows you by name and remembers your favorite drinks and dishes, even if it’s been months. She is a credit to her craft and the real reason we come back so often. We always feel loved and taken care of. She respects space but engages and is personal.

You have a diamond in Terri and really all of your staff, but she will always be our favorite.

Made a reservation for 8pm. It was about a 5 minute wait upon arrival. First time here. Everything ordered was delicious and cooked really well. NY strip (perfectly seasoned), bone in ribeye (wish it had the same seasoning as the strip but it melted in your mouth), whipped mashed potatoes (amazing), green beans, brussel sprouts (a little too much balsamic for me). Let me not forget about the salad also! The candy their own pecans for it and it was a fresh mix of greens with feta and cranberries. And for dessert, there was banana pudding (not sweet enough for me, but that’s kind of the point, the cinnamon chip was really nice though) and chocolate cake. My only issue with the cake is I wish it were warm and a la mode… but, when I say this was a massive piece of cake I’m not exaggerating. It is definitely on the pricey end but a great atmosphere, the waitress was very attentive and friendly and made some great recommendations. The owner and/or chef came out to ask about our meal, also very friendly. Will be going back for special occasions! Oh and as far as location… it’s in the middle of a ranch so you might feel a little lost driving out to it but just follow Google maps and it will be fine! Nice outdoor firepit area also!

The food was well presented and the mashed potatoes tasted like heaven, the asparagus that I ordered were the best I have tasted ever. And the banana pudding was also delicious. The only thing negative, if we can call it like that, was that my tenderloin were in the salty side. But the best thing that night was the service of Casey the waiter assign to my table. If I come back to the restaurant is because of her, and I want her be my waiter again.

Fly by Night Cattle Company is absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, every bite was perfection. The fried okra was crisp and flavorful, the ribeye steak was perfectly cooked to melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, and the tenderloin chicken fried steak was beautifully seasoned and downright delicious. The banana pudding? To die for—a perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal.

The service was top-notch, and Teresa embodies everything you hope for in a great dining experience. Attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our meal memorable. This place is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back!
