FLUID Coffee Roasters is a locally owned, family operated specialty coffee roaster with 7 cafés across Northwest Indiana. Specialty coffee means intentional sourcing, high quality beans, and expert roasting that honors each origin. Rooted in the Indiana Dunes and powered by Lake Michigan water running through our equipment, we serve espresso, cold brew, seasonal drinks, and ceremonial grade matcha made with house-made ingredients. We offer food, baked goods, and curated merch, and we partner with breweries, wineries, cocktail bars, and local creatives. FLUID is welcoming to everyone and built for the hardworking people of the Region, plus artists, travelers, and the quietly intuitive. Dog friendly patios and treats included.

I ordered the specialty coffee Witching Hour. Jordan was our barista and did a fantastic job. He warmed up my muffin and brought out some butter for me. The coffee was hot and delicious salted butterscotch chai latte.

We usually visit lincolnway but wanted to try out the other Valpo location. Glad we did because we met Jordan who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended a couple items and was super attentive. Made for a nice morning cold brew!

I really love Fluid! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with comfortable seating that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The coffee and food are both great. Jordan is especially nice and always checks in on customers, which makes the place feel friendly and personal. Such a good spot to relax or get some work done.

Love the vibe. Ask for my guy Jordan he will set you up and don’t forget Trent he runs a good show. Make sure to go on a day Sabrina or Madelyn is there because they bring the energy with their vibrant personalities!! Plenty of seating: a private podcast room and a separate meeting room. The people who work here are accepting of everyone and they are genuinely great people. Food is good and the coffee is great. I love the no spill seal lid, why don’t other coffee shops ever do this. The owners are great people who do so much for so many without ever tooting their own horn. This is just a totally cool coffee shop staffed by really great people! If you come to Valparaiso and you love the coffee shop vibe you won’t want to miss this location of Fluid!

I met up with friends and we had a room to ourselves to enjoy some really great lattes and to catch up. It was our first time here and Jordan was an awesome batista! He checked in on us and was very helpful with his suggestions so that we each chose a coffee that we genuinely loved! We did not order any food, so I cannot speak to that, but the breakfast menu looked delicious! We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!
