I’ve been coming here for over a decade. You will not find better Chinese food in Oakland. The helpings are generous, the price is very reasonable, and the service by the two women who run tbe floor is impeccable. They’ll let you know when you’re ready, remind you to visit more, they absolutely rock- and shout outs to the husbands in the kitchen who make the food as awesome as it is.

We love getting take out from the Flower Lounge. They have the best hot and sour soup in the Bay Area, that includes chicken and shrimp. We love their fried rice and we regular get a vegetable. All the vegetables taste fresh and are cooked perfectly. The staff is very thoughtful.

The restaurant is definitely no frills. Looks like it mainly caters to take out. The staff is very friendly. We got the chow mein which was good and came quickly. We also got the lemon shrimp which was pretty standard. The rice was sub par. It was kinda stale. The dumplings were pretty good. We also got the pot stickers which were huge and probably too similar to the dumplings. The price was definitely right. Cost half as much as eating out at almost any other restaurant.

Really good food, fast service, very friendly staff. Even though I don’t live in this neighborhood, it’s a go-to stop when I’m in the area. They’ve been here under the same ownership for over 30 years!

The food and was good but $35 for two plates is pricey when they don’t even come in hot food safe containers. They also charged me almost $10 more than the prices listed on their website. They lost me as a customer.
