The Chili BBQ wings were good. The ranch was fantastic. I like the unique toppings for pizza. The sourdough crust wasn’t my favorite because it tasted kind of gummy. Really disappointing that they don’t have high chairs for littles and the metal seats aren’t really great for kids. We sat at the window seat but my son kept wanting to get down making it stressful. So I’d say it’s not really kid friendly which is interesting seeing as this appears to be an all women team. The ambiance of the restaurant seems very homemade-esque on a budget and not really restaurant vibe but it’s cute. I would order take out for this restaurant instead of dining in. However, I still prefer transfer pizza though.

I had tried their food truck before, but I had a City Tin coaster for their restaurant, so I decided to try it out. I’m SO glad I did! I tried a whipped feta appetizer that came with super crunchy crackers, the Baddie pizza (tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto, balsamic), the Lemon Song pizza (ricotta, mozzarella, lemon rind, pistachio, wildflowers), and the almond cake. Everything tasted so well crafted and fresh. The lemon pizza was unlike anything I’d ever tried – so vibrant and unexpected. Their crust is made of sourdough, which really lends a great flavor to the pizzas, which are woodfired (my favorite!). They also have hot honey on the dining tables, so you can really savor those crusts! Highly recommend visiting.

Flour Girl and Flame was an absolute HIT at our wedding and honestly, our guests are still talking about the pizza! Their wood-fired pies are not only delicious, but made with locally sourced ingredients and the most fun, diverse flavor combos. People were going back for seconds (and thirds) and we still had plenty for the perfect late-night snack!
They even created a special seasonal salad from our tasting, we loved it so much that we had to have it for the wedding and they were more than happy to accommodate our request. For dessert we had their sister company Everyone’s Ice Cream with mini floats and unique flavors that had everyone grinning like kids. It was the cherry on top of the perfect meal.
The team was incredible from start to finish; thoughtful, communicative, and so accommodating with every request, including dietary needs. They made the whole experience feel easy and fun, and truly helped bring our vision to life. We knew we wanted a unique dinner experience that felt like us and they truly delivered!
Plus, we got a super cute photo op with the pizza oven at the end of the night — such a personal and memorable touch!
If you want incredible food, amazing people, and the happiest wedding guests ever, Flour Girl and Flame is IT. 1000/10 would eat again (and will eat again)

I came home for a visit from California. My Sister has been wanting to try this pizza place that everyone’s been raving about. Being the pizza snob that I am coming from the Bay Area, my Sister wanted to impress me. The crust on the wood fired pizzas were to perfection. The focaccia sticks appetizer was also outstanding and we took the Door County Cherry ice cream to go. Big chunks of delicious bright red cherries, perfect for the holidays. We all loved everything about Flour Girl & Flame! From the cozy vibe to the genuinely happy staff, we felt comfortable and well cared for.

Where do I even begin?! Absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best pizza places I have ever been to. From the honey-crusted homemade pizza to the warm, friendly atmosphere to the absolutely phenomenal story and business practices they stand by — this place is something special.

I truly appreciate their support for the LGBTQ+ community as well as their immense support for minorities. This restaurant exudes passion and love, and you can see (and taste!) it in every bite.

We ordered the focaccia breadsticks — deeeelicious, soft, and chewy — and the marinara sauce and side of ranch… WOW. Bursting with flavor. We also ordered the Nashville hot wings, which were just the right amount of heat and perfectly crispy (and the homemade pickles? Yummm).

Then we each got two personal gluten-free pizzas — the Pep in Your Step and the Big Dill. My mouth waters just thinking about them as I write this.

If you’re looking for a pizza place — especially one that stands up for equality and inclusion in this time of political darkness — Flour Girl and Flame is for you. We will absolutely be back very soon.

Thank you, Flour Girl and Flame, for all you do and all you stand for. Sending much love and positivity to you all!

Cute and cozy restaurant.

Ella was extremely friendly and did a great job answering any questions.

I had a kale Caesar. Nice and light salad. Not over dressed.

Lemon Szechuan wings. Very tender. Make sure you like lemon as these wings are have a strong lemon flavor.

Margarita pizza. Solid pizza very much different than a neopolitan. I liked it but didn’t love it. I would have like to have seen the pizza be a little lighter and more crispy.

Overall cute and cozy spot with friendly service.

Also bonus points for having a mini ice cream shop in the back.

I held a surprise engagement party at Flour Girl and Flame and the entire experience was truly amazing! From the planning stage to the actual party, the staff were extremely helpful. The food and drink were delicious and came in a great variety. They even went the extra mile by providing custom NA options and a simple little pizza made for my nieces. Trying the bone marrow was a great surprise for my fiancé, too! Overall, such amazing and thoughtful attention to detail. Very happy I picked Flour Girl for the occasion and would highly recommend them!

After enjoying Flour Girl & Flame at events and venues across the greater Milwaukee area I finally was able to check out their brick and mortar by attending a pizza making class. The location is beautifully decorated, the owner shared the history of how they came to be and their mission, plus delicious pizza and ice cream! It was super fun for our group and we def all agreed we wanted to go back soon. The class included the pizza we made, drinks, ice cream plus a dough ball to take home and make. Definitely worth the price!
