Table for two. Seated right away.
Restaurant had a cozy feel. The staff were friendly. The food was good. I would visit again.
Flossmoor- Rita: 4/5 their take on a jalapeño margarita. It was missing something. Maybe a Tajin rim.
Flossmoor- Tini: 5/5 their take on a Cosmo.
Wings: 5/5, very good.
Duck Fat Fries: 5/5, the aïoli sauce that comes with it is good too
Brussel sprouts: 5/5; they give a hefty amount which is great.
Short Rib Bucatini: 5/5; short rib was very tender
A True Gem That Never Misses!
Flossmoor Station has long been one of my favorite local spots—and for good reason. While the Pot Roast Tacos are a must-try staple, this time I decided to switch it up with the H-F Viking Burger, and I’m so glad I did. Perfectly grilled, loaded with flavor, and paired with crispy waffle fries—it was comfort food at its finest. My drink of choice? Their Zephyr Golden Lager, which was smooth, refreshing, and the perfect companion to the meal.
And let’s talk about dessert—Homemade Key Lime Pie. Light, tangy, and just sweet enough with a buttery crust and whipped topping that sealed the deal. It’s always hard to pass up and never disappoints.
From the historic charm of the building to the warm staff and the lively brewery vibes, this place checks every box. Whether you’re here for brunch, burgers, or beer, Flossmoor Station is worth every visit.
They also stop serving the claw chowder I loved and it’s just not the same. I live in the neighborhood, however it’s not the only place in the vicinity to get quality food and service. The beer is decent, food is amazing, some people just have bad manners and lack customer service skills. Won’t be returning or ever spending a red penny there again. Happy Martin Luther King Day.
Revised 1/25/2026. Some people have bad days and that’s life. However I went today and received the BEST CORNBEEF HASH SKILLET IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. The Corn Beef was so juicy and tender, no salt or pepper or hotsauce/ketchup was needed. I added a avocado and 1000 island dressing. Absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend, especially with a nice Zephyr. Listen it was a snow day however good environment today, peaceful watched the games and even make a Lil money. All in all, I appreciate this restaurant in the area, because to be honest, I wanted Chinese food today.
Salutations.

Definitely the kind of spot you end up recommending before you’ve even left the table. Grab a bite, stay a while. You’ll be glad you did.
When I arrived to pick up my food, the young woman at the counter was kind and willing to help, but an older woman she consulted was noticeably reluctant to assist. This caused an unnecessary delay, during which my food sat long enough to lose its freshness and become cold. Watching this unfold was incredibly frustrating and disheartening.
When I finally received my order, the disappointment only grew. My sandwich was missing the lettuce, tomato, and onion that are ALWAYS included and clearly advertised as part of the sandwich. On top of that, my sandwich was NOT dipped in buffalo sauce as explicitly instructed. I also wasn’t given any utensils, forcing me to eat my meal unprepared and uncomfortably.
To make matters worse, the mac and cheese—once a personal favorite of mine—was missing the breadstick that is advertised on the official menu. By this point, it was painfully obvious that my order had not been taken seriously at any stage of the process.
This entire experience completely ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable meal. I ate out of frustration rather than enjoyment, feeling overlooked, disregarded, and deeply disappointed by the lack of care, accuracy, and urgency shown.
Because of this experience, I cannot see myself returning to this establishment or recommending it to anyone. I fear that if I were to return, I would once again be met with the same disregard and leave just as disappointed as I did today. For future customers: double-check everything, or you may end up enduring the same frustration I did.
What saddens me most is that around a year and a half ago, the younger ladies at the front desk and the younger staff who prepared and delivered my meals—faces I had grown accustomed to—were no longer there. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine care made each visit enjoyable. Their absence has been deeply felt, and this establishment simply isn’t the same without them. I truly hope they are all doing well.
