This is a good old fashioned hamburger on Route 66!
If you are traveling Route 66 and coming into Tulsa, you are entering a hamburger paradise, and Flo’s Burger Diner is one of them. It is located in a little strip mall at Admiral and 193rd E Ave. It is worth finding!
We had the Old Fashion and the Deluxe Cheese (mustard instead of mayonnaise) burgers with all of the condiments. They were very good! We also ordered a side of onion strings and fried jalapenos. The order was big enough for two people and they were good. Thin cut, lightly battered, fresh, crispy, crunchy and greasy. Salt them down and you won’t stop until the basket is empty! Heart burn here we come, but man they were good!
Small place with a friendly staff!

We read good things about Flo’s diner. They have quite a menu of different selections. We both had a cheese burger. They were tasty, just a little greasy: just like a hamburger should be. My wife ordered fried pickles: they were good. I ordered fried mushrooms. I didn’t care for them at first, but a little salt was all they needed. There was a dead ant in the salt, I just made sure it was still in the shaker after I used the salt. I am sure I have ate worse than an ant and didn’t know it.

So, in my trek to find the best burgers, I was told to check this one out. The total experience has to be part of the review. My Patty Melt was good. My wife’s original was horrible. The overall experience was sad. We arrived and were greeted, but the whole order process now reminds me of the soup nazi even though there was no one else in line. It was abrupt when I asked about the special for Monday, which was basically BYGO for free he said it was only for the original. Because of the urgency I paid the full price for 2 at $32, and left my order alone happy to get a Patty Melt. As you can see in the pick the Patty Melt was on toast not rye, which was disappointing, but the fried onions and jalapeños made up for it. Now, the reason I am glad I didn’t get the original is because it was basically inedible. It seemed like they were training a grill guy and one peppered and salted it than the other guy did and then someone else thought hey more pepper. I thought maybe she was over reacting… but one bite and an hour later still picking it from my teeth. The worst was as we left the Grill guy trainer asked how everything was to which the response is mine was good but hers was inedible, and he replied yeah I might have gone overboard on yours… have a blessed day. I guess that’s how they roll. Might be some amazing burgers in there if you are worthy of their time. Not worth mine. Classic diner burger stand feel.
Paper thin crispy fries with a fluffy center.

First time here, and it definitely lives up to its name, diner. It is not fancy, but good. The two women working behind the counter were incredibly nice and friendly. The manager was doing the cooking and when finished came out and cleaned tables, swept the floor and was very friendly. The bomb burger basket with Spanish fries was good but not something that would bring me back over here unless I just happen to be in the area. There is nothing bad about it, I just didn’t get that ‘wow this is really good’ feeling. It was a good value for the money and the service was great. The only negative I could say is some of the bacon on my bomb burger was so hard I thought it was a bone, I couldn’t even break it with my knife it was so hard and the floor needs a good mopping with clean water and degreaser. But definitely not anything that should keep anybody from going

This place is SO good! The burger wasn’t dry & melted in my mouth. I like the fries more than haystack onion rings. They were perfectly seasoned, not too salty or overpowering. Perfection! I ALWAYS say no salt, but forgot & didn’t need to anyway. Love that. The bread on the burger was really, really good. Toasting it would’ve been even better, although I don’t know how that could happen. I was full on half of the meal, a single burger meal. They have double & triple stacked burgers too!! Other items are available as well. I’m definitely going back to try other menu items. You should check them out too.

In search of the infamous bomb burger!
I received a text from bro in laws. Too 5 five hamburger in the state, you gotta make the drive, it is not that far.
Well I did made the drive, the diner is closed on Sunday!
So … no bomb burger, no fried pickle, nothing but the craving for it.
Please note, it is clearly stated in the door M-S 11:00 to 3:00 pm.
Sunday closed, not as reported previously on this google map.
I hope they make the correction as reported!

Great burger with an interesting specialty burger. First time there and the staff was shower friendly, giving helpful tips on what to order. The onion rings are the short string style… which I like. The burger I ended up needing to fork… juicy burger destroyed the bun…
overall a really good experience and I plan to bring my daughter here to try it out.

A small burger diner with awesome burgers and fries. It took about 15 minutes to get my order while they were fairly busy but it was worth the wait.
The huge pile of fries looked hand cut and were nice and crispy.
I got the bomb burger which is a double patty burger with cheese, bacon, mayo, and bomb sauce. In my opinion the patty was near perfection and you need to try one of their burgers if you want a lesson in burger making.
I would guess that the beef is probably double ground and formed into a patty without compressing where it just holds together enough to perfectly cook it and get it on a bun. The result is, you don’t need to bring your teeth with you because it almost melts in your mouth.
The young people running the place were great.
In my opinion it seemed a little pricey at almost $19 for this burger combo but it was one of their highest priced burgers and they have many other combos starting at around $9.
Will be back.

Love love LOVE! This place. The old diner feel, the ladies running the grill, everything. The food is simply amazing. I know its burgers, fries, things like that. But the imaginative burgers that they create are just delicious. The bomb burger and fat fries. You MUST try this. One of my absolute favorite places to go now.

I went with some co-workers after seeing some pictures on Facebook. I have to say that the Bomb Burger was awesome! Unique flavors that I haven’t considered putting together but it was a great burger! A co-worker had the Sizzler and another had the BBQ cheddar burger and they both said that they were great! The only complaint was that the fries were a little soft in my opinion. The larger ones. The smaller ones were perfect. I believe that this is due to using fresh potatoes to make the fries and getting a wide variety of sizes from the potato. They were still good I just would have liked them a little more crispy. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other specialties!
