Upon entering, the restaurant is absolutely adorable. It’s divided into three different rooms, each with its own unique vibe. We loved walking through two of the rooms and taking photos—such a fun touch. The room to the left was closed due to repairs and possibly low occupancy, which was understandable since it was a Tuesday and didn’t affect our experience.
Toward the end of our visit, salsa music and reggaeton were playing, which we really enjoyed. To top it off, they surprised my mom with a happy birthday sign and dessert, which was a very nice and thoughtful gesture.
Now, onto the food—since that’s often the main reason for dining out. We started with a round of drinks and shots, which were great and served in super cute cups. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari and the tostones with short ribs; both were good and enjoyable.
For our main courses, we ordered the 3 Grill Boss, Lomo en Llamas, and El Rooster. The Lomo en Llamas was flavorful and served warm, which we appreciated. However, one of the Grill Boss steaks had to be sent back because it was ordered medium and arrived very pink. Unfortunately, even after it was returned, it came back barely more cooked, and the guest ultimately couldn’t eat her entrée. Additionally, two of the Grill Boss dishes came with mashed potatoes that were very cold, which was disappointing and not something you’d expect when dining out. The steaks themselves lacked seasoning and were topped with a butter that didn’t add much flavor.
The chicken dish was also quite oily and didn’t reflect the wine sauce that was described on the menu.
Service-wise, we noticed that our waters were not refilled, even after asking. This stood out especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy—there were about 15 guests total, and our group accounted for six of them.
Overall, I truly see a lot of potential here. The ambiance, drinks, and appetizers were enjoyable, and the birthday gesture was a lovely touch. I would love to see improvements in food seasoning, temperature, and attentiveness to guests, as these details can really elevate the dining experience.
I would definitely return for drinks and appetizers and would be open to giving the food another try in the future if improvements are made.
I have no complaints
It was better to buy food at Mcdonals ,
is not Worth spending the amount of money we spent in a place like that one.
Then after we finish our meal, there was an event in the dining area and they literally told us that we had to pay to stay or we had to leave.
Need better food !
Horrible, horrible horrible!
