I went at 12pm today and I waited for 30 minutes for an inside table which was fine but when I was seated and order their soufflé pancakes I was told they were backed up on them and it would take one hour to one and a half hours which I said that’s fine since I was going to order other things and I was probably going to be there for a while anyways. I noticed the cooks and waiters getting into some kind of commotion and not even a couples minutes later out waitress comes back to tell us they’re actually not making anymore pancakes for the rest of the day. At that point I had waited around 40 minutes and I just walked out. I didn’t mind waiting for the pancakes but since the cooks wanted to be lazy and not cook them any more I left. This was my first time coming here AND LAST!! How can you stop serving the dish that your known for at 12:30pm when you don’t close until 3pm that makes no sense just proves they’re being lazy. Not only that today is a Friday so how is this place not ready for the weekend brunch as it’s usually more busy and they should be more prepared for that. So if you come here make sure you’re ready to wait 30 minutes to one 1 hour to be seated PLUS a hour or more for their signature pancakes. Not worth my time lost. I hope this restaurant reads this and is more prepared next time!!! I’m very disappointed.

Rude new waitress I been coming here since they opened I always order steak and potatoes and substitute my beans for fruit I came in on Wednesday 3/11/26 on my lunch break around 1-130 the waitress had an ugly attitude told me they dont substitute the beans for fruit I explained they always do it for me and she just said with attitude no we dont do that were new here ..I was appalled by her rudeness of course your new I work down the street and usually service here is great the cook even comes out to greet you and make sure your foods good which it always is I had to walkout the new waitress is bad for your buiness bad attitude

Best time to come is as they open. Early birds gets the worm. I think for being new, they need a bigger place or expand . Kept it going!! The flavor is there, the food comes out at a timely matter dependinghow early you get there, the food remains hot as you continue to eat and great staff attitude

We had brunch there on Sunday and it was not worth my 4hr wait. Got there checked in at 10:30 was told 1hr and half wait. And after waiting for 1 hour a group of 8 came in that was friends with
the owner or maybe employee. Overheard they were going to be put before us which to me that is not fair minding you a lot of people have been waiting longer than me and for them to do that was not cool. I asked one of the managers how much longer for us to see if maybe I did hear correctly and he told me I still had a long wait ahead of me if I still wanted to wait or leave, like hello sir of course I’m going to wait that’s why I’m asking you, I would of like him apologizing for the long wait or something else. But whatever’s we still waited because we believe in supporting small business and specially in our own city. After 2hr wait we were put in drinks were alright. Waitress was really nice she took our order and most of the items we wanted they didn’t have…. It was a bit odd since my husband wanted the filet mignon and eggs and they didn’t have but they did have a filet mignon omelette…. Then we wanted the machaca plate but they didn’t have that but they did have the machaca pop tart??? Ok… we order 5 plates in total for the group of 6 now when they really got me a little upset was we were receiving plates every 20-30 mins apart…. We didn’t leave the restaurant until 2 pm. so save your self’s the time eating brunch here if you want owner and management to cater to friends and family and treat regular costumers like trash… we will not be coming back. Will stick to poached in Downey or even across the street from them and eat some yummy enchiladas ✌️

This place is definitely a 10/10!! The food was delicious, the drinks were bomb, and the staff were super friendly. Only thing though was the wait time which was around 15 minutes and there were few empty tables and people still had to wait longer, however it was worth the wait.
