I was excited to try this place based on reviews but was disappointed. It took forever to get French toast, I specifically asked no fruits just plain. They brought it drowned in sauce, with fruits on the side after 20+ minutes- waiting forever. The service took forever, I asked for honey on my avocado toast and they forgot to bring it. Probably a better spot for people that are Jewish.

I just had my first sambusac at Florentin Bakery & Café in Fort Lauderdale and I now understand why people write poetry, fall in love, and occasionally start wars over baked goods.
Picture this: warm, golden dough… and inside? Not just cheese a trio of feta, mozzarella, and ricotta, all melting together like they’ve been waiting their whole lives to meet. I took one bite and my whole body basically went: “Shhh… shhh… don’t talk. Let me experience this.”
And if you’re kosher and chalav Yisrael, this is not just a treat, it’s a rare event. The kind of thing you text your friends about, in all caps.
The vibe of the place? Modern. Israeli. Easygoing. Feels like someone transplanted a little corner of Tel Aviv, gave it better parking, and decided to feed all of us who’ve been emotionally neglected by North American baked goods.
So yes… Florentin gets a full-on glowing review from me. This is a special experience.

If you’re not Jewish you’re NOT welcomed there. The staff behind the counter were rude, not welcoming, not all pastries have prices on it and NO INGREDIENTS and NO date at all!! The worst was that they OVERCHARGED me $5+ and I trusted them and paid what she asked for
They charged me $52.21 total for 1 sourdough bread, 1 smoothie, 1choc croissants, bite-sized pastries (4pieces) and one choc babka for $17.99?? instead of $12 advertised on their menu. I paid without asking but grabbed the receipt that she did NOT want to give me. SHAME on them!!
Now I understand why they have so many positive reviews – because people got $5 dollars off their next order for giving them 5stars. PLEASE PLEASE DON’T fall for it do NOT go there!! Theris an amazing cafe next to them NOIR – go there better – save your money and have a good experience.

The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with charming decor and a relaxed vibe that made it easy to enjoy the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience.

Amazing restaurant!! I googled brunch place near me I was SOOO happy Google brought me there! Nice surprise! We went from Miami to Tel Aviv in a hard beat! And even found familiar faces from back home! The food and experience was out of this world !

Finally made the trek to visit this place after discovering it months ago. I have to say it was absolutely worth the wait and miles! Food was delicious, possibly the best Israeli bakery I’ve tried in South Florida!

I wanted to have a breakfast here, but mistakenly went to a wrong place.
However I came to try their croissants that I took to go. OG, so good. Cheesecake danish and almond croissants were so fresh, crispy yet very delicious!
Looking forward to come back and try their food.

If I wanted a piece of Tel Aviv here in my backyard that’s where I would go. Let’s start with the vibe, super elegant and charming. Definitely a place to have a business meeting or take a date out to. Right of the start the decor gives you a sense of downtown hidden garden where every breakfast or lunch should take place. A real picnic.
Service was great, attentive, smiling, nice, and responsive.
Food, oh boy, incredible! The sambusak is incredible no matter what you put in it. It took some time to come to the table, not too long, but then I realized it’s made on the spot in a pizza oven, so yes, makes sense. I have no problem waiting for my food if I know it’s done fresh on the spot. Even the condiments were great.
Price was perfect, just what you would expect. And hey, no stupid service fee here so you should for sure come support this place.
Good job, keep it up, and make sure the quality stays high.
