Gorgeous views for an antipasto platter and a sandwich at happy hour time, for those of us who need an early dinner.

Had a fabulous meal there. Giovanni was our server and sommelier and took great care of us! We shared the spaghetti caccio e Pepe! Delicious! Shared the beef with porcini mushrooms and Barbera wine sauce. Awesome! Giovanni helped us choose a beautiful Rosso di Montalcino red wine from Tuscany. One of our favorite wines. Reasonably priced. Pictures are of half portions. We were stuffed and happy! Have been coming to this hotel for 13 years and have always gotten the great service – glad to see that Giovanni is carrying the traditional along!

Food was delicious! We came here for lunch and tried almost everything from the buffet. Every single dish was very tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointing for the prices they charge. Food is bland. They’re trying to be fancy, without first mastering the basics of cooking. Maybe sufficient for typical Americans that make up most of the clientele but if you know anything about food, go elsewhere and have an amazing authentic Italian dining experience for much less money.

Not great, particularly considering the prices. Having arrived at our hotel exhausted and ready for bed, we decided to go here despite mixed reviews. Unfortunately, the reviews were right. The server was friendly enough, but the food was mostly pretty bland and, in some cases, inedible. The antipasti was mostly good, it was the main courses that left us scratching our heads. Particularly one dish, which was supposed to be grilled vegetables and cheese. What we got was essentially raw slices of vegies that had been thrown on a grill just long enough to leave grill marks but not actually grill the veggies. In the center was a large round lump of “grilled cheese” that was still cold. There was little to no seasoning too. Maybe I’m just not educated enough in Italian cuisine, and this is a normal dish, but is was just gross. The other main dishes were mostly left uneaten too, as they weren’t very good. It turned out to be both our most expensive meal in Rome and our worst meal. The restaurant needs a revamp.

I went to a business lunch last week at the Flora Restaurant in the Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora on Via Veneto. The six people at our business lunch all loved the food and the atmosphere, and were all satisfied with our meal.

F&B Manager Alessandro Recupero and his staff were professional and efficient, and Chef Massimo Piccolo was simply sublime. The cuisine was absolutely fabulous – some of the best in town. it was refined and well-prepared with the flavors always consistent and balanced. The food was plated perfectly and served with a particular nuance that attracted everyone’s attention.

Time was of the essence, so we had arranged for a set meal. However, Chef Massimo surprised us with a pre-antipasto dish which was amazing plus a pre-dessert and additional baked cookies and pastries. The service was top notch, the food was first class, and the ambiance was great. It was evident that the attentive staff clearly like what they do.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great meal experience in an elegant atmosphere in Rome. I certainly plan on going back soon!

Octopus was a bit bland, lamb was quite good, scalloped potatoes were meh, Margherita pizza was uninspired. A bit overpriced, especially desserts. Service was a bit befuddled – one of us got his appetizer with the rest of the entrees, so he got his entree when everyone else was done.

One of the best dining experiences we had during our trip to Rome. It was pricey, but hey, it was my birthday! 🙂

The restaurant is not available, except for groups!
I pay about 800 euros per night and that is the answer you get
So besides this totally unacceptable treatment in a luxury hotel, everything stated in google is completely wrong!
Never again!!

While the food was serviceable, I think it was lacking any real flavor.
