Recommended by a friend bit he has been demoted on the friend totem pole.
Very average. I had tacos de arrechera – 185 crazy expensive for tacos. Chewy and not good. I also had the papas bravos – 105. Also not good.
They do have a big menu so possibly their other items are better. But, overall I was disappointed and won’t find my way back and will be looking to promote a friend.

This was a great late night dinner spot that was very accommodating to our larger group (8 people) and the host handled a rowdy guest with grace and kindness when they started to become confrontational for very little reason. Certainly would recommend!

This place is amazing. It’s so good, we have started each of our nights in Mexico City at this place with a margarita – they are delish! The owner is so lovely and has provided the best suggestions on things to see/do in CDMX. The small gift shop out back of the restaurant is more like an art gallery and has the most unusual items to buy. The food is great too. Highly recommend.

This place is great. I visited for the first time last year after a local friend recommended it. We had such a nice experience that we returned this year when we came back to Mexico City. I even remember what I had last year–the vegetable soup and pasta and both were excellent. The service was so warm and attentive. The owners stopped by our table to ask how we were enjoying our meal. On this visit I had sweet potato soup which was really tasty. The house wine was a red blend from Baja California and was so good I had three glasses.
