I rate this restaurant a 10/10! Why? I’m glad you asked. First the restaurant is located in Hotel Haya in Ybor City. My guy and I went there for brunch. I always love a great brunch spot and their brunch is Tuesday through Sunday. The esthetics are very nice, the food we ordered delicious and the presentation was nice. We had the lobster and sweet potato Bisque soup, breakfast empanadas, and the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with fries . So if you’re in the Ybor City, Tampa Bay area, stop in. They also have a cafe attached to the restaurant that makes delicious Cappuccino and a bakery. I had the white mocha caramel Cappuccino. Everything was great! The manager was also very friendly, kind and attentive and the service was great as well.

This year we had a delightful Christmas dinner experience. This was my first time trying this Flor Fina and I’ve already raved to people about how good the food is and how awesome the service was. The meal not only included multiple courses but they also allowed “seconds” on anything on the experience menu. The seafood stew was delicious! Big clams, shrimp, scallops easy 10/10! The seafood bake was insanely good, I could eat that as a meal. The beef was tender and cooked to perfection. The pork belly was crispy and the chorizo dish was full of delicious chorizo…. They do NOT skimp! This restaurant is great for holidays, lunches, dinners, anything. The interior is so well designed, you’ll feel at home (the mansion you likely don’t live in, but home nonetheless). The whole experience was a 10/10! Thank you to all of the staff for working on Christmas and making our day special, delicious, and fun. We both were very pleased and impressed!

My husband and I chose Flor Fina to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While the bartenders and the manager behind the bar delivered exceptional service—truly attentive, warm, and professional—the quality of the food was shockingly unacceptable for an establishment that appears to provide an elevated dining experience.

Both of our meals were completely burnt when they first arrived, forcing us to send them back. Mistakes happen, but what followed was even more concerning: the replacement grouper dish my husband ordered was undercooked to the point of being raw. At this level of dining, basic execution from the kitchen should never be this inconsistent or unsafe. A different manager brought us the raw grouper dish and she thought she was educating us on the difference between charred and crispy skin which ultimately felt insulting. The “charred” grouper was burnt to taste. The comment felt as though we did not know the difference between charred and burnt. Unfortunately, there was a gentleman sitting right next to us who also sent his burnt filet mignon back to the kitchen.

It’s disappointing that such stellar service from the bar staff was overshadowed by a kitchen that failed not once, but twice. On a night meant to be special, the lack of quality control and attention to detail left us genuinely frustrated and deeply let down. The unfortunate mistakes from our dinner ultimately resulted in a delayed dining experience and we missed our candle light concert that was only 3 minutes from Flor Fina. I hope this feedback is received as this was not only a let down on our anniversary, but my husband started he would never return to Flor Fina, a restaurant that we have enjoyed in the past.

Great first brunch here with friends! Sara was amazing super friendly and accommodating to what we wanted. And suggested flavorful menu items.

We had the yummy empanadas to start. And u had the chicken and waffles! So delicious
Everyone loved their dishes and the size portion was just right!

Oh and the Bloody Mary was great!

My other friends and I were staying at the Haya and I’m so glad I booked this brunch for us. Super chill urban like modern atmosphere. We also had drinks at the bar later. And all the bar tenders were great!

Amazing experience! The food was flavorful and beautifully prepared, and the service was just as impressive.
Our server – Ashley, went above and beyond from start to finish. Attentive, kind, and absolutely on top of every detail which truly elevated the whole experience. Definitely a spot worth returning to!

Service, Atmosphere and Drinks were perfect but the food was not my fave and I go around Tampa trying different places. I went for a birthday dinner and the food was very disappointing after waiting all day to try this place. Most of the dishes were bland and lacked flavor. I tried the vegan dish which tasted like bologna- very odd but it had so many different ingredients for it to sadly taste like bologna. The truffle risotto with fish was ok, also lacked flavor. I was not satisfied. The appetizers were a lot better than the entrees in my opinion which include the maduros, the lamb skewers and the shrimp.

The restaurant had a nice interior, but since it was located in an open hall, it lacked the cozy, intimate vibe we were hoping for. To start things off, we had a bit of confusion finding the entrance for valet parking. There was no clear signage, so we ended up parking in a lot across the street, which cost us $15.

We ordered the chickpea salad and the cheese potato spheres to begin with. The potato spheres were unfortunately very salty, but our server was kind and responsive, promptly replacing them with potato wedges, which were much better.

For dinner, I ordered the snapper. It was okay, but nothing particularly special. My friend went with the chicken, which turned out to be a standout. The sauce especially was flavorful and really tied the dish together.

My drink, a cucumber gin cocktail, was refreshing and well done. For dessert, the banana tiramisu was a pleasant surprise light, creamy, and delicious. The flourless chocolate cake was decent, but about what you’d expect from that kind of dessert.

Our server was training someone new, and both were very attentive and friendly throughout the evening, which definitely added to the experience.

All in all, it was a good night out..not amazing, but with a few highlights and great service to balance out the rough edges.

This restaurant is beautiful ! The staff is young fresh and fun do not let their age fool you they are professionals! And you will have a wonderful time at the bar and I don’t drink amazing tastes and optically appeasing. Bring your big girl stomachs ladies… ‍↕️ portions are nice!

Flora Fina was an absolute dream of an experience! From the moment we sat down, Clayton was an absolute gem. His enthusiasm for the menu was infectious, and he gave thoughtful, realistic recommendations based on our actual tastes not just the most expensive options.

We started with the lobster sweet potato bisque, and wow… the flavor was phenomenal. When I mentioned how much I loved it, Clayton encouraged me to live a little and reassured me that ordering another wasn’t a bad idea at all and honestly, he was right.

I trusted Clayton enough to let him surprise me with an entrée based on the three he recommended, and it was hands down the best decision of the night. Every bite was incredible.

We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make the evening feel special with a birthday dessert that truly sealed the experience. The food, the ambiance, and most of all the genuine conversation and connection made this night unforgettable.

We’ve already made another reservation specifically to come back and see Clayton again. Flora Fina isn’t just a meal it’s an experience we can’t wait to repeat!
