Not only did this restaurant exceed my expectations, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming which tied the experience altogether. I must say you can tell when your food is made with love. I really enjoyed my time here. I will definitely be back to try more. Definitely recommend!!

Starting with the positives:
1. We got seated right away with complementary chips and salsa.
2. Most food came out relatively quickly.
3. Half of our party’s meals were piping hot (literally sizzling on the plate.
4. Drinks and steaks were on special, so the final price was less than we expected.
Where things weren’t great:
1. It took a very long time for our waitress to take our order (starting with drinks and apps). It also took a while to get the drinks, but the guac came out right away.
2. 3/4 of our party’s food came to the table, at which point the waitress could not remember what I ordered. After reminding her, it took about 10 more minutes for my food to come out. I ordered the fire pollo en mole, which on the menu specifies it’s a half chicken. The food came out (picture attached) with a pile of shredded chicken with mole sauce. The taste was good, but definitely not how it was described on the menu. The waitress forgot multiple times to bring out tortillas she said came with the chicken. I asked the waitress about this and she said the chicken depends on what they have that day? Not sure what that means.
3. Half of our party’s food was room temp (mainly the rice and beans).
4. The birria tacos had pieces of bone in them (picture attached).
5. The waitress never came around to ask if we needed more water or drinks.
6. After we told the waitress we were done, the waitress walked away from the table. It took about 15 minutes before we had to go find someone and ask for the check.
Unfortunately don’t recommend.

Yesterday my fiancee and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised at Flor De Fuego. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious, the ribeye is the best I’ve ever tasted it was tender and juicy and it was on special for $25. The drinks were excellent, and our waitress was very nice though she was in a rush because she was the only waitress that seemed to be working and the restaurant was full. Either way this place is very good and we will be back hopefully more staff is hired .

My husband and I have come to this restaurant a couple of times and have enjoyed the food, but have noticed a couple of things. They charged me around $2 for a super small cup of cheese. Today we ordered a set of tacos and got ONE small salsa for the whole order. The prices are fine, but when you charge extra for super small things or don’t give enough salsas for 3 tacos, that’s where I don’t understand the higher prices in food.

Atmosphere was popping… live music, people laughing and dancing and full of great energy. Food was fantastic and gorgeous presentation. Went on a Friday night with my wife and just sat at the bar. It’s a little small in there, but we only waited maybe 5 minutes for a seat. We got the barbacoa torta with pickled onions and it was beautiful and absolutely delicious
We also had jalapeño lime margaritas and then we ordered jalapeño pineapple mezcal. Fantastic! We’ll absolutely go again.
So good we went again for lunch!!!

Really nice place with a cool atmosphere. You can tell the staff is really trying and makes you feel very welcome. I do think the portions are a little small, but everything tasted very good.

I want to first start off by saying a beautiful website. We were very excited to check this place out.
From the start, our service was horrible. We ordered an appetizer and couldn’t even get any plates to eat it off. I also want to emphasize the place was not that busy. The reason we know why is because our waitress just stood around.
When we ordered our meals, the waitress came back after 10 or 15 minutes and said by the way we don’t have that so my wife had to figure something else out. Then when we received our food, we didn’t have any silverware nor did they bring out our tortillas.
I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for our waitress to come back and never did.
I had to walk over to the kitchen and tell them what’s going on. From there it pretty much ruined our dinner. In the restaurants defense, they did give us a discount, but that was not the point. Our plan was to have a nice steak and seafood dinner, and that was ruined.
If you’re going be in a restaurant business, your staff needs to be aware of what is available. Not providing somebody with basic utensils like a knife and plates is rather offputting. Maybe come to the table and see if everything‘s OK and not just forget about them. Maybe also know where your table ordered and confirm they have all their food.
Regardless of the horrible service, I still left the 20% tip, which I shouldn’t have. To the owner, you really need to evaluate your staff because they reflect your business.
In terms of the meal, it was excellent and fact some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten with lots of great flavors.
But the treatment and poor service I received is really upsetting. Especially when you plan to take someone out on a nice date and this is the result.
An absolutely horrible experience thanks for ruining our night or better yet put yourself in my shoes and tell me how you would feel if you experience this.
The strange thing is you never know who walks in your door. What the cost of prices people work too hard to spend their own money on something and have a horrible experience.

Wow, fantastic meal! The quesabirrias were absolutely amazing-like stuffed pot roast tacos with delicious dipping sauce. Excellent pastor tacos, and my husband liked his burrito. The menu could use a rewrite–found it confusing & incomplete–but the food was fabulous. Ask questions or for things you don’t see (we added rice and/or beans to meals, both excellent, and they were happy to bring us salsa Verde on request) So glad I tried the quesabirrias, and looking forward to trying other new things!
