Delicious food (breakfast) and orange juice. So much to choose from, I had the seter pick between two for me because I could not decide. We will definately be back to try more.

Excellent spot for breakfast and brunch. Pancakes were delicious, light and fluffy. Biscuits and gravy were good, but the gravy was a little under seasoned. Southern potatoes were an excellent version of the traditional hash browns!

New to the area & I love crepes, so I’ve been looking forward to this restaurant. Did not disappoint! Danielle was a wonderful & attentive server & both the savory & sweet crepes were an incredible breakfast! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I like the Moline and Bett Plex locations of Flip’s. The skillets are a particular favorite, especially the Farmer’s Skillet at the Bett Plex location. As I live closer to this new location, I was excited to see they were open today.
The interior is quite similar to the Bett Plex location. There’s a bar area to one side, a mix of booth and table seating throughout the interior, and simple furnishings throughout. The one noteworthy difference in this location is the green and cream coloring and tiling across the interior space. It definitely has a softness compared to the brightness of the blue and white theming of the Bett Plex location. I don’t think either is really better than the other – I really just appreciate both.
I opted for the “South of the Border” skillet for this trip with scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. The toast and eggs were near identical to the Bett Plex location. I think I erred in getting this particular skillet though, as I didn’t notice it came with string hash browns instead of the southern fried potatoes. I love the fried potatoes, but this was definitely my error. Everything was good otherwise, seasoned appropriately and plenty tasty. A good Saturday morning breakfast.
I want to come back in the future to sit on the patio (was a bit overcast today). Definitely a great addition to the Devils Glen Road part of Bettendorf. I look forward to more breakfasts. Thanks, Flip’s!

Their menu has a wide range of breakfast options, I highly recommend the Athenian omelet and cinnamon pancakes. Service was fast and friendly. The decor is modern and chic, but it can get a bit loud and echoey when the dining room is full. Most items are priced in the $13-14 range. I was disappointed to see that I was charged about 50 cents more per item on my bill versus what was printed on the menu. They also charge a credit card fee. I’d be more inclined to return sooner if they could get their prices down a bit, otherwise it was a delicious breakfast!

Best hash browns I’ve had in a long time. And they went well with the rest of my breakfast. Only wish the table didn’t see saw back and forth. And the had more than just grape jelly at the table. Maybe they had more selections? The biscuits along with the sausage gravy were awesome! Didn’t taste floury.
