I don’t really do reviews but Dang… they make a good pizza so I felt compelled to write this up. Came in and the staff was very pleasant place was clean, it’s great when you can see them in the kitchen preparing your food. Gotta give them a Five star for service and more so for the Food.. Great job.

Best customer service ever from both John and Noah. The pizza and service was great and outstanding!!! We dine in, had a glass of wine, and ordered a large pizza to go. It was delicious!!! Thank you both John and Noah for such great service!!!

I tried this place through the Too Good to Go app, and I’m so glad I did! For starters, the two gentlemen working there this evening were very personable and friendly. Their pizza was good and so are the garlic knots. I’ll definitely be back! And thank you for not wasting pizza by throwing it away. At least you know someone took it home and enjoyed it fully this evening and it didn’t go to waste.

This place was my go to pizza place in town but never again. Guy on the phone treated me like garbage because I asked to change my order for 1 pizza to pickup just after ordering. At first he said it was better for them if I pick it up, but he didn’t say anything about reimbursing my tip. When I asked about it he seemed irritated I wanted it back. He said, let me ask the manager. Comes back on the phone and says it will be ready in 10. I said, again… what about the tip? He said we will probably give you cash. When I arrived, again he said nothing about the reimbursement, no cash exchanged, and I already felt uncomfortable from the interaction on the phone. So, I just wanted to get out. Arrived home and the pizza is burned. Crust is hard as a rock. Payed $27 for a burned pizza.

While I appreciate trying to make it right, I don’t appreciate denying my lived experience. I’ve ordered many pizzas here before, and I’ve never had one with crust so hard. This was not the norm. I also was not worried about whether or not my money was returned when I left the shop. I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding reimbursement. I never received a solid answer regarding how I was getting my money back. The stress was not worth an almost 30 dollar crouton pie.

What a find! I stumbled into this place on accident. Best thing that’s happened to me in weeks! I had the best barbecue chicken pizza I have ever had, bar none. And I eat a ton of pizza!
To top it all off, they are mask optional before Gruesome gave the green light. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better.

Pizza is as blah as it gets. Also, you guys gotta stop calling every thin crust pizza “NY style”. This is not NY style. Something about the crust just stocks to your teeth, and not in a good way. Also lady behind the character is a walking stereotype. Treated me like an idiot, super nice to my husband though. Drove 17 minutes to get there. 17 minutes of my life I’m not getting back. Says veteran owned, hence why we went, but you can’t win them all. EDIT: Jason (?) gets back to me a year later with his sassy comment to claim that a) I didn’t have the experience I reported having and b) I must not have heated up my pizza slices and that was the cause of all of my problems? Yes, I took the pictures in the car after I got the pizza. But I did make it a point of taking them home and heating them up because gross? And yes, it did stick to my teeth. Also, what does it matter if I got my slices through TooGoodToGo? It’s still your product correct? I should still expect the same quality that I would if I was having a sit-down experience in your restaurant. Let’s face it. Your food at the time wasn’t that good. And I haven’t been back since. But you probably chose to respond to my comment because you figured, after a year, I wouldn’t comment back. Also kudos on not mentioning a thing about the horrible customer service. I can forgive most places a lot of sins if the person behind the counter treats me like a decent human being.

Great service! They now have halal pepperoni! We ordered 2 halal pepperoni pizza and the staff made sure their pizza cutter was washed and cleaned before our pizza was cut. That’s paying attention to details and I really appreciate that and definitely will make sure to give business to them!

I love the thin crust- and I love Flippin’ Pizza. They’re my go-to now when I’m craving a slice. Even when I’m not. Good stuff!

Flippin Pizza has the best staff, and good food. I started patronizing the Del Mar location when they opened, and was reminded of what pizzeria’s used to be like when I was young. A place where the community shows up, to have good food, with good people. Now that we moved to 4S Ranch, I am happy to have a Flippin just as close, and am happy to see the same owners come through. This is me and my son’s favorite place for a quick weekend meal!
