The best gluten free bun I’ve ever had! I was acting shocked at how well it tasted. It was very thoughtful of the waitress to offer up suggestions for a gluten free side as well. Much more appreciated than you know, so thank you! Can’t wait to come back now.

I had the burger and it absolutely blew me away. My party also ordered the Chicken noogies basket, which she said was fine, she didn’t expect them to come unsauced. But back to the burger, I ordered the Merica double, the potato bun was pillow soft, and the patties were delightfully thick and extra crispy (in the good way). The fries weren’t bad at all but didn’t compare to the burger. I saw another table with a brisket burger that looked amazing. I would definitely come again for the burger, but maybe next time get a single (I didn’t realize how big it would be). The service wasn’t bad.

Was seated immediately – too cold and now dark early so no sitting outside enjoying the view of the lake – but very nice inside and good amount of seating both bar area and rest of the restaurant. Excellent service and the food was spot on – really enjoyed the fried pickles and had their burger special which was good to perfection – here on business and the recommendation to come here for local beer and great food was spot on – will be back whenever I am in town – great spot!

This is an ASTOUNDING little spot on the lake. Great views, great vibes, and great food. I came here for the burger and it did not disappoint. The beef was a high quality fresh grind with those little lacey edges. It’s not a full on smash burger but a “squarshed” burger as they call it. Very flavorful. The fries were also delicious. You can’t beat a good burger, a draft beer, and beautiful view of the water. Flippin’ Cow is worth all the hype. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area.

A few weeks ago when we were in Elkhart, someone recommended that we try Flippin Cow. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to stop then, but since we were back in Elkhart today, we made it a point to check it out. I’m so glad we did.
It was fantastic and not just the food.
From the moment we sat down, we were greeted like we were old friends. Our server, Suzy, was honestly one of the best servers we’ve ever had. You could tell she truly enjoys her job, and that kind of energy just makes the whole dining experience better.
For lunch, I ordered the whitefish salad with a mango dressing, which I really enjoyed. My husband had a burger that he said was excellent, and our son ordered a chicken sandwich with a patty that was practically the size of his head. He couldn’t finish it, so my husband stepped in to help, and he said the breading on the chicken was fantastic.
And the setting makes it even better. The restaurant sits right on the lake, so the view was beautiful on this early spring day.
If you’re ever in Elkhart, do yourself a favor and stop by Flippin Cow. And if Suzy happens to be working, I highly recommend asking to sit in her section.

What a cool place to chill, have a cold drink and some food. My hubby got a Bloody Mary and it had so much stuff on it, was yummy. Kayleigh was our server and she was the best! Love the deco and the cow on the table was so cute in how you notify your server. You will not be disappointed

Was in town to return some stuff, and decided to try this place out, due to.it having a good star rating. I had the Suzy Special burger it was decent nothing spectacular, we also had the patty melt which came out cold. And wasn’t really all that. Waitress never once came back and asked if we needed refills or asked how the food was. Also got fried pickles they was pretty decent. Mix of fried pickles with onions and jalapenos, the wild sauce or whatever that came with them was also decent.

Suzy was so attentive to us, giving us options and answering our questions about the menu. She checked back with us after getting our meal, making sure we all were happy. Oddly enough a lot of restaurants don’t do this! She is down to earth and such a sweet person. The food was delicious and fresh. The grilled bacon and chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned! The rest of our family loved their cheeseburgers. The food came out fast, too! We will be back!

I had the hangover burger with the bacon cheddar dip and chips. It was amazing, the burger was seasoned good and tasted fresh plus quality ingredients! Definitely recommend the bacon cheddar dip as well. Too top it off the service and waitress I had was amazing and welcoming! Definitely recommend and will be back!
