Hands down some really good seafood! This was my first time visiting and the customer service was great from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful when recommending items from the menu.

Everything we ordered was delicious—from the cornbread to the loaded French fries topped with buffalo chicken. The boudin balls were amazing, and the stuffed shrimp and mahi-mahi fish were cooked perfectly.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

On our way to hotel stay before a cruise and wanted to try something different. The shrimp tacos were great, the fried cos sandwich was tasty and perfectly cooked. I would recommend this place to family.

The place was busy and the service was excellent! I did the snow crab the garlic butter was good, personally I’ll make sure no mushrooms in the future. The street corn appetizer had a good flavor and the chips were hot. The fried food was in cornmeal which I like but could have been seasoned more. I think the crawfish was a bit over cooked. The food came out fast and was hot.

Cute little restaurant, you are met with an array of desserts when you walk in… we didn’t try any but they looked tasty.
The stuffed jalapeños were fantastic! A must have. The catfish was fried crisp
And delicious. The adult milkshake was very tasty but it could have used a touch more liquor. The waiting staff seemed new and a little awkward.

The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to go back again to try more dishes and dessert. We all loved our food. It was well seasoned and not too rich with good consistency. Good serving sizes, too. It’s a cozy place, but you don’t feel crowded. There is enough space between diners and tables. It’s clean and inviting. Thanks for a great meal!

I have not been to Flippers/TJ Reeds since they have merged. We went tonight to grab some dinner before the wildness of New Year’s Eve. We walked in at 6 pm and asked how late they were open. The owner, Nisha, greeted us and said that they were thinking of closing at 7, but for us to come in and have a seat and take our time.

While there, we spoke at length with Nisha. She is a knowledgeable and welcoming owner who greeted each person who entered and checked on tables.

I ordered fried catfish, dirty rice and hush puppies, along with the Sinful adult milkshake. My husband ordered fried shrimp, coleslaw and hush puppies eith ice tea. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.

I can’t gush enough about the food, atmosphere and service. We will for sure be visiting a lot in 2026!

Ok, my 2nd visit. The service is good. The atmosphere is coastal causal…shorts and flip-flops are the Norm here.
So how is the food? Well if you like fried seafood, then you would like this place. Can’t say anything about there grilled or blacked seafood dishes. There portions are generous…
Now, I ordered the shrimp-crab gumbo (this is the 2nd time I have ordered the gumbo…so my review is not based on a fluke…sample);…well… the roux is good, but NO crab could be seen… Look guys, if you call it “Shrimp-Crab” Gumbo, then put crab in it… otherwise take this item off the menu.
I always hate it when restaurants cut corners to make a little extra profit…
I guess I need to drive to Louisiana to get real gumbo!!!

The location has moved and is part of TJ Reeds now. Burgers, seafood, and shakes…this is definitely the place for all of those. The shrimp and grits is amazing. They sear the grits and pour the pontchartrain suace over the top. I’ve never had seared grits before…it’s is very good!! They have a great kids menu and the boiled shrimp was very good. If you want spicy, be sure to ask for extra spicy….just spicy is not very spicy. The service was outstanding. Be sure to ask for Dillon…he is very attentive!! The atmosphere is great and there are plenty of TV’s to watch the game. We will definitely be back!!
