I was disappointed at the quality of dishes for the price being charged. A $17 Mac and cheese should have a lot more meat than this. Burger was nothing special – the salad was kind is sad for the price.

Don’t miss this cool, welcoming, burger pub! Great food, cold tasty beer, friendly service and a clean store. The store has two levels, several tables and a single restroom in the front, at street level and a bar and more tables a few steps higher, in the back. I enjoyed sitting by the front windows, watching the bustle of quaint downtown Chagrin Falls! Our burgers were absolutely delicious. I loved that Flip Side gave me more control of the flavor by serving my burger with the sauces on the side. Also, the burger is served majestically alone, on its own plate. Delicious fries and rings are available but the burger doesn’t need to be buried by them to make a meal.

This is a perfect date spot and the staff is warm and welcoming most of the staff as been there for years so they have experience with the menu and can help you with any questions you have. The menu isn’t too big and that’s a wonderful thing not to be overwhelmed by a huge menu. The portion sizes are enough to share between two people also all orders are a la carte.
The only thing I really didn’t like was the bread I believe they use a normal potato roll and it doesn’t do the quality of meat any justice and it doesn’t really have a good mouth feel I think maybe a sweet brioche would support the flavor of the meat better. The quality of meat you pay for and are getting become dragging down by the bun it’s sad but that’s really my only complaint I also do not suggest getting a chocolate shake it’s nothing wrong with them but I think making a good chocolate shake is hard
The atmosphere is warm and fresh to be in it is a perfect place to bring friends and make memories

The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. The only draw backs are that the restaurant is so busy that there’s a wait to be seated, but there’s no waiting area. You just wander around on the sidewalk until they text you that your table is ready. The staff is -busy-. So it takes a little while to get waited on, and the restaurant itself is super cramped. I had a few people bump into me while I was eating, just trying to squeeze through to get to other tables. Honestly though, the food is worth it!

You’re gonna pay a premium here for an American staple – hamburger. It’s worth the price. Served with fries you’ll get more than enough food.
We weren’t fond of the seating where you’re pretty much crammed into a small space. I guess that’s good for eves dropping on your neighbors conversation but that’s not for us.
Service was good not great but passable. We’ll eat again but will probably choose a location with outdoor seating.

You had me at aged cheddar and apple wood bacon. I’m writing this review BEFORE I eat it… because once I start, I’m not going to stop.
I’ll update if expectations < reality...
FYI – cafe outside seating is dry (Chagrin Falls city or dance?) but so very, very nice in “small town USA”!

Really excellent burgers in an amazing location. The restaurant itself is really well kept and has interesting decor.
There’s a huge array of different and interesting types of burger to try. I could probably eat there 50 times in a row and try something new every time.
After you do some damage to your digestive system, go for a walk. The area is really something.

Hardly any fries with our burgers. Salad was a joke.
My sister and her daughter were in town so I suggested Flipside. I had a good experience there last year. This time it was not good. We ordered 3 burgers with fries and a salad with a burger patty. The 3 burgers came with hardly any fries and the fries that did come were all the leftover pieces. The salad was just a pile of wilted, shredded, iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes. They forgot to put cheese on the burger patty.
I said “this burger is supposed to have cheese on it and ranch dressing with it”. They brought out a piece of cheese on a plate instead of melting it on the burger and still would not bring me dressing. They said ” the dressing is mixed in.”,
With the burgers when I saw the fry quantity, I asked “is this going to be enough fries?” The waitress asked ,” oh is there not enough? ” Everyone just looked at their plates and then stared at her and she stared back. Finally my sister just said “it’s fine” when the waitress didn’t take the hint.
The salad had virtually no dressing “mixed in” so we had to make a, Second request for dressing. So a cold burger patty with cold cheese on warm, brown lettuce without dressing.
