We moor our boat at the marina. Last year with no restaurant was miserable. We’re so grateful for the Flip Flop and the team here. The food has always been good, at times service can be delayed. We see the flow of patrons since we’re here every weekend. Large groups flow in quickly and can be overwhelming and demanding. Staff are friendly and hard working. We’ve eaten most everything on the menu this summer. Nothing has disappointed. Dave, Jaymi, Steve, Will, and Angelique are top tier! Have patience while they work out the kinks. We need them here!

Waited 20 minutes for the server when we got there. Ordered 2 beers and we shared a sandwich that took 45 minutes to get to the table. We finally got the tab, tipped and left. Days later I look at my bank account online to see they charged us double! $69.80 for 2 beers and 1 sandwich. We have called at least 6 times and only received rudeness from manager Joann saying she’s too busy and will look to it. We have called asking for owner Dave and he doesn’t call back either. Very disappointed and we will never be back there. Spreading the word to friends and family.

This place needs to decide if it wants to be an actual business. If so, the Ozark vibe needs to go (they prefer cash and charge a 4% fee for using a card – who does that?). There is a complete lack of professionalism, organization, and customer service. We’ve been there 3 times this season and every time service has been sub-par or non-existent. Went for breakfast today, the place was about 2/3 empty. We were told to sit wherever we wanted, then sat down only to be ignored while we watched others (friends?) get service. We picked up our own menus and were never offered drinks or even a good morning. After we’d been sitting there at least 10 minutes, we heard employees say to others they were only accepting cash orders and that people would need to get $ from the ATM. We did that and continued to be completely ignored. Literally not one employee said a word to us in the 20 minutes or so we were sitting there. We began discussing our options while 2 staff members stood nearby, and when we finally decided to leave, one of them said “have a great day, it’s not usually like this.” We felt as if they were deliberately ignoring us so that we would leave. At that point we were frustrated and my husband said “you could’ve said hi.” As we left, one of them called out “Bye” sarcastically. The name on her name tag was Bella. Unfortunately, we went be going back. The good news is The Gateway Cafe in Plummer has fast, great service and delicious food. We”ll save ourselves the trouble next time and go straight there.

Food is great. You have to be patient with them though there’s always a lot of people there. The bar service is excellent. They try and get around to you as quickly as possible. It’s a nice place to be able to just hang out.
