I’ve lived right around the corner from them for years and just tried them for the first time I’d say two years ago. They are my neighborhood go to for burgers. The Cherry Blossom Shake is awesome and the Sunrise Burger (breakfast burger) is my favorite. All their food is good. I like that every time I get the Sunrise burger it is always the same… consistent. I like that and that’s what makes me keep going back. If you are in the area I suggest you give them a try . The guys that work there are super friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. Thanks Flip City

My husband and I stopped at Flip and Shakes on a Sunday. The place was virtually empty but it looks like do a considerable amount of take out. The milkshake was delicious. The hot dogs were pretty good. We had the Chicago hot dogs with bright green relish and banana peppers. The fries were BRUTALLY salty.
Aside from the food, the seats in this place are super weird. The booth seats are super low to the ground and the chairs are super narrow.
We might be back when in the area and try their burgers.

Would consider this as a failed attempt of a nifty 50’s clone.
The food did not live up to expectation.
The French melt and the fatty patty had more bread than anything else. It was dry due to the lack of ingredients in the sandwich.
The romaine lettuce in the ceaser salad was not fresh.
The sweet potato fries were on point.
Shakes were satisfactory.
No malt was available for my B&W malt which was disappointing so I went with the apple pie shake which was tasty.
You would think that a place that has “shake” in the name of the establishment would have more options of shakes, it did not appear that way.
I don’t think I’ll be going back.

PAPER STRAWS!!! Kudos! Great service with a smile. Great variety of burgers, dogs, grilled cheese melts and shakes. Burgers are so juicy. The bread they use for the grilled cheese is thick. Shakes are thick. Oh and the salads are good too! Don’t miss this place.

Came here for dinner with my husband and son and if I can give zero stars for everything I would. It’s 99 degrees out and inside the restaurant had no air conditioning and it was so hot in there that was one issue, then the tables were dirty I had to wipe my own table it was sticky and had crumbs all over, then we received our cheese steaks and they had no cheese on it, it was burnt and very chewy and the size of the steak for the price was very disappointing it was small almost the size of a plastic fork. Then we ordered milkshakes and they were very milky. I drove here almost 45 mins spent $70 on food and drinks i couldn’t even enjoy. Definitely give this place zero stars (picture to prove the size and what my dad steak looked like)

Flip City Shakes is straight up the best burgers in the area. After ordering, it may take some time for them to cook up the burger and fries. All food is cooked upon ordering and is totally worth the wait. Flip City Shakes offers no nonsense burgers and fries that is reminiscent of happier days before fast food chains dominated the suburban landscape.
