I stumbled upon this hidden gem because I was looking for a place to get my golf fix in during off season in South Tahoe. I figured they wouldn’t have any and I’d have to drive far, but there was one super close, I was ecstatic.
After researching availability, location, price, reviews of food & drink, this hit all the marks. So I immediately booked 2 hours of sim time using their convenient online system.
This place is by the airport with plenty of parking. It’s inside another building. They have 2 simulators where you can play while eating, a bar, sitting areas in and out where you can see the runway.
The simulators are fun. You can golf, play football, basketball, soccer, dodge ball, etc… we added an extra hour to our initial 2 since we were having so much fun.
The food was delicious and you get really good sized portions. We ordered the Vaquero Burger, Nachos, Flat bread. The beer on tap hit the spot. We were well served and attended to. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We’ll definitely be back, the family had tons of fun. If you’re looking for a place to relax without dealing with the overcrowded restaurants elsewhere in the city, give this place a shot, you won’t regret it.

Have you heard? The Flight Deck is the best restaurant in South Tahoe for Breakfast, Lunch and amazing service! Seriously,
Their breakfast consists of fried chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy and all the egg combos you can imagine. For lunch, a full menu of sandwiches, steak and the best thick hand pressed burgers in town!
Waffle fries are crispy and a real treat.
Couple that with a great bar and amazing guy, Johnny Mac behind it (Super knowledgeable and a friendly face too!) and Darby providing cheerful, amazing service at the tables and your in for a real great time.
When you have a minute to look away from the 7 large TVs check out the unique views of the airport, trees and mountain range too.
What else you could you ask for?

Just opened in early July, great location at the SLT airport. We had the wings, bacon/burger, and steak sandwich. All were excellent, I especially enjoyed the steak sandwich…steak was tender, tasty and there was plenty of it! Bread was perfectly matched to the meat and spread. I also enjoyed a local pilsner they had on tap. They have 2 golf simulators in the restaurant, plenty of TV monitors and we got to see a US Army chopper land, while waiting for our food!

Wow! We’ve heard about this place for years and were bummed when it closed previously. Since it re-opened this Summer we’ve heard great things and today went for lunch. It was fantastic! We had Bloody Mary’s that were great before our lunch. We started with their Queso Dip with homemade tortilla chips. One of the best Queso Dips we’ve ever had. Following that we shared a house salad and the Pepperoni and hot honey flatbread with Jalapenos. Salad was simple and super fresh and paired perfectly with the flatbread. Everything looked so good that we devoured it all before we took any photos. Sorry No Sorry! Food was great but what a great experience to watch the helicopters and small planes coming and going. We brought our dog and sat on the deck. The bar would be a great spot to eat and/or drink as well this an unobstructed view of the runway as well. Limited signage (an issue with Caltrans we were told) so just go to the South Lake Tahoe Airport, park and go inside and you’ll find it.

So first time in South Lake Tahoe and found this place by accident. Thank you Google maps. I would highly recommend it if in the area to stop by. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere was very chill and friendly. Loved the views of the mountains and the planes. And let me say the food was amazing and plenty for the price. If your like me you see the dollar signs and think oh no, but it was more then enough and so good. And again the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

Very cool experience on the back deck. the helicopter and air planes landing and taking off was pretty neat! Everyone loved their food. Most expensive thing in the menu was $23. Very reasonable for Tahoe! Would definitely recommend going to anyone weather visitijg Tahoe or a local.
