Just passing through and found this spot. Cute place, friendly servers, food was quick and tasty! We got the classic burger and upgraded to French fries and then the nachos were probably my favorite and presented nice! Our drinks consisted of: the rum bucket (came in cute bucket obviously giving summer vibes, so cute!) and then the pineapple bourbon smash (loved the presentation and was delish.)

We showed up unannounced with a group of 30ish people. They handled it like pros. Great bar food with some unique offerings that really set it apart (not every bar has lobster mac and cheese) Everything we ordered, and with 30 people we ordered most things,was excellent including the sides. Even details like the amount of sauce on the sandwiches was perfect.

A friend of mine and myself met at The Flight Deck for dinner last night. We had been looking for someplace to meet between our two homes and he suggested the Flight Deck. I was skeptical because it’s in the Rochelle Airport. I’m glad we decided to try it out.
We went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn’t very busy. There was a large group there, but plenty of tables available. The tables/booths do need so updating as they are starting to show the signs of age. Open ceiling, standard bar décor, patio area, view of the runway… This is a standard bar and grill. Nothing fancy.
As for the food. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Black N Blue Brisket Burger. The cheese sticks were of decent size, had an okay flavor. I feel they were a little over cooked, but they were still good. The burger was above average. Definitely better than anything you get at a fast food restaurant and the fries were also above average. Over all the food isn’t anything wowing, but it’s good and I did enjoy my meal.
Now here’s the selling points: !) for all of my Gluten Free peeps out there. They can replace the bread on any sandwich with a gluten free wrap for a $3 upcharge. 2) Everyone one of their signature drinks can be made alcohol free, thus turning them into Mocktails. I ordered a blackberry hibiscus mule mocktail and my friend got the same with alcohol. We both thought they were delicious.
Our service was good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We had no issues. I think this might be a regular stop for the both of us.

We went a little earlier in the evening so it was pretty calm in there when we got there but it was picking up the longer we were there. Our server was outstanding, stqyed right on it and we wanted for nothing.
There is a large convenient parking lot and as long as someone is there to help with the door it is handicap accessible.
The seating is varied from bar seating to booths. The restaurant was very clean and easy to navigate even with a cane, walker, or wheelchair. There were people of all ages dining there today and everyone appeared to be having a great time. In the warmer months, you are liable to see plqnes and skydivers coming and going as it is right on an airstrip.
The food is unique and varied, however everything we have ever had in there has been very good. They do change up the menu from time to time so be prepared to order something new, but who knows it might become your new favorite.

The lobster poutine was amazing!! Never had it before and wasn’t so sure about trying something new lol, but it was delicious 10/10 recommend. Also the service was great!

We came really late on Sunday night. The staff were kind, patient, offered great service. The food was good, too. I’ll go back.
Only disappointment was they were out of a lot of food items. Worse, for a party of 6 or more you are forced to pay 20% gratuity. Seems unreasonable and does not give a server incentive to take care of larger parties. I’ve seen this at high end places for 10 or more but this place doesn’t seem right for this type of policy. However, as said, I will try it again.
Oh and the beverages… yummy!

I had the texas burger and my partner had the classic chicken sandwich, both with fries. Ive noticed that a lot of sit down restaurants dont have very good fries but besides dennys the fries from here are some of the best. The burger was to die for.

Friendly & attentive staff. I had the raspberry margarita, yummmm. Hubby tried to get an NA beer, they didn’t have any. I believe she said just out of stock.
Only bummed at the appearance of my burger. We questioned the server if this was how it should look. She was not the one who brought the food to our table. She quickly took it away & got a new one, she couldn’t believe that even brought it out to us & stated how sorry she was. The new burger was awesome.
Some of the chairs outside were very uncomfortable dug into my legs, needed to switch it out. Then it was better.
Got to see a plane land while eating.

We enjoyed a stellar lunch! Shauna was a ray of sunshine in our already perfect day! We had the mushroom burger with tots and the grilled chicken Caesar wrap with a side salad. Everything was a treat to our taste buds! Watching the skydivers land while we ate was a cool experience too!
