Still the one! We’ve been enjoying Fleurie since 2016 and they’re still the benchmark for gourmet presentation, taste and service. Their prix fixe menu is surprisingly expansive with plenty of choices and the wine pairings are outstanding. The sommelier is a consummate professional, bringing an impressive resume in his own right. Restaurant vibe has good energy without excessive chaos, and table conservation was quite easy. Always a solid recommendation and our first choice for a quality evening on the Mall. (Baba au whiskey dessert pictured — fabulous)

Romantic and well-polished restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food! Loved everything, from the bread, canapés, and cocktails to the scallops, salad, veal chop, desserts, and more. Lots of little “amuse”-ments come with the Prix Fixe menu, all around creative, unique, and flavorful dishes!

It’s not often that we can justify splurging on a meal like this, but it was so worthwhile and special. The food, the service, the whole experience was amazing and we loved celebrating our first wedding anniversary here. My husband and I couldn’t recommend it more to celebrate your special occasion.

The food is excellant. I had the beets amd salmon salad appetizer, filet mignon entree with mushrooms, and a vanilla creme brulee for dessert. In between each course the restaurant serves surprise dishes for everyone to try. These are all samples sizes but very delicious and something you don’t experience anywhere else. The staff did a great job answering questions and sharing where the food was sourced and how it is prepared. The atmosphere was nice and I didn’t have to yell over loud music to speak with my dinner party. If you are visiting Charlottesville and want a fine French dining experience, with a quiet atmosphere, this is a must try. Great for business and date nights!

This was by far the most pleasant and technically impressive dining experience I have ever had. It is without a doubt worth much more than the fixed price they are charging. I ordered what I wanted, but they just kept bringing more and more complimentary bites of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. Everything from the Foies Gras, Veal, and Creme Brulee left me with a deep desire for more. If they hadn’t kept me sated with small plates Inbetween courses, I would have gladly ordered everything a second time. Seriously, well done staff. Go to this restaurant. You will not regret it.

I would not recommend spending $150 + on this restaurant. I went to celebrate a birthday with a couple friends, hoping to have a great experience. The service was mediocre at best, as our waiter switched halfway through. The second waitress was much better. The food was good, but if you are paying $150 I would expect the food to be not just good, but exquisite. I would definitely recommend saving your money or taking it to a different place.

WHAT the heck happened to my favorite restaurant? When we go to Fleurie and we do often, I understand I will spend hundreds of dollars to have a creative, artful, great quality dining experience. However, the past couple of times I dined at Fleurie the food was very disappointing. I keep coming back thinking it’s a one off. But no its not. This week the scallops were raw almost sushi, the diced broccoli side tasted moldy, the entree short ribs were all fat fat fat. I left both the appetizer scallops and short ribs entree on the plate! The saddest part is the server didn’t even ask why we left our food behind. I am very sad that my favorite restaurant is no longer an option for anniversaries, birthdays, or just a needed night out for us. Please fix this and go back as you were. Once you do let us know, that’s when I’ll return.

Transported to France in the heart of Virginia! This restaurant in Charlottesville offers a genuine taste of France with its exceptional cuisine and charming ambiance. The foie gras, duck breast, and apple tart were nothing short of spectacular—each dish exuded authentic French flavors and finesse. The service was impeccable, elevating the entire dining experience, while the romantic and cozy atmosphere added an extra layer of charm. A must-visit spot that I highly recommend making reservations for—an unforgettable culinary journey awaits!
