My mom and I were visiting from Texas and read great reviews so decided to try it. True to the reviews, this restaurant was excellent. I had the seasonal eggs benedict while my mom had the ol’ standard breakfast. Everything is carefully made right in front of you, the coffee is made in a french press, the service was wonderful as well as the food. As the first brunch in St. Louis, I’m afraid other restaurants won’t compare. 1000/10.

Come here with patience.
The place is small. The food is amazing. Gourmet style and flavor from a diner format.
Small space, lean staff. Prepare to wait for service, wait for seating, wait for your food.
I’m not going to make excuses for them – it’s joe they operate. You walk in, find a seat. They notice you, you order. Get their attention for additional needs. They are friendly and service oriented, but it’s a fast paced, tiny space, and they are -always- running at 110%. So, be patient, and they will get to you.
That said, we had a great experience. Waited about 3 minutes for two seats to open up. Waited another 5-10 for it to be cleaned off; they caught our eye right away, nodded to sit. The busy waitress cleared the bar and then the cook let us know we’d be served shortly.
Order taken and started cooking before it was entered into the system. We got our food before our morning coffee, which was very delicious! They had run out of vodka for the Bloody Mary so they comped us that AND replaced it with a tequila version. So awesome.

This is not a quick meal, this is a dining experience. We got there right as the doors opened and I’m happy we did. They have about 13 seats at the counter and 4 seats asking the window. They take their time getting to you so be patient, it’s worth it.
The hours can vary however we heard that they usually announce the day before their hours on socials.
The food was amazing. Simple yet elegant. The presentation was beautiful too. And the prices were reasonable.
Check it out if you have the time to wait for the full experience.

WHAT this place is incredible. I drove by one evening and decided to pop in for lunch the next day while in town for a conference. It was busy, and I grabbed the final stool at the bar. It’s a small menu so they were cranking out food fairly quickly. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were incredible, and $9!?! I took half of it home. The delightful woman next to me had ordered the seasonal soup, and when it came out I knew I had to order a cup even though I was so full. It was worth it. Maybe one of the best soups I’ve ever had. My whole bill for biscuits and gravy, soup, iced tea, and a deviled egg came out to under $20 before tip. Tim and Cory are lovely – please go visit them.

Stopped in for brunch on Sunday shortly after they opened. Staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Seating is limited indoors but there is outdoor seating when the weather is good. The owner Tim man’s the kitchen and pumps out some really delicious and creative dishes if you’re able to get in. Will be back to try the items I did not have room to try this time like the Eggs Benedict, Biscuit & Gravy and the five onion soup.

Highly recommend this restaurant! Went for breakfast for my birthday on a Saturday morning. We waited about 10 minutes before two stools opened up. It was great seeing the food being cooked. I got the breakfast sandwich (on a biscuit) with potatoes and that was the BEST biscuit I’ve ever had. It just so happens, that was the last biscuit they made-great birthday present for me! My husband got the double cheeseburger with fries and an espresso martini. He said it was the “softest” burger he’d ever eaten and the martini also exceeded his standards. The music playing was an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

10/10 Recommend. We got the Short Rib Eggs Benedict, Mimosa, Breakfast Sandwich on Brioche Bun, and a Bloody Mary. Everything was delicious and I love the way the food presentation was. It was almost too pretty to eat. It’s small in there but you get to see them take time on your food. We will be back for sure.

Very cool counter service gem with incredible food! We got there at peak brunch time so it was packed and we did have to wait for a table, but it was WELL worth the wait! We had the seasonal Eggs Benedict which was perfectly done, and delicious, herbed breakfast potatoes. We also got the biscuits and gravy, which was by far some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The savory, smoky gravy was incredible, beyond what you’d expect, especially at a counter service joint, you gotta get it!
Staff was friendly and fast, atmosphere was very cool, and the French press coffee was great too. A must try!
