We came here for our birthday dinner, it was very intimate and warm ambiance.
We had moscato sweet wine.
You cant go wrong with sea bass! That’s if you love fishes. My sister and my friend had steak. We go birthday card and chocolates complimentary.

Was there on March 1, 2025 for a double birthday celebration dinner and it was wonderful! There is ample parking. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had 6:00 PM dinner reservations on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. Server and staff knew the menu and had wonderful timing throughout the meal.
Two of the five family members had the Land and Sea package and it was absolutely wonderful and delicious. The meal was prepared on hot plates that kept the steak perfect. One family member prefers hamburgers and it was huge. Can’t remember all of the other plates, but they looked great!
As mentioned, this dinner was to celebrate two birthdays and Flemings restaurant surprised us with two boxes of chocolates and Happy Birthday Cards. We spent a good two hours at this restaurant, and everybody made us feel so comfortable and welcomed.
Everyone at the table was appreciative and would highly recommend this restaurant when looking for “upscale“ dining in the northern suburban Chicago area. You can expect to spend $60-$100 on a meal without alcoholic drinks, but the experience is worth it.

Okay so went there for a birthday dinner celebration and let me tell you am impressed with the quality of service. The food was quite excellent and the desert was delicious! Will be coming back for more.

First experience at Flemings and had hoped the food would taste better than what was experienced. Started out with the salad, pretty good and tasty. The salmon was over cooked and tasted a bit too fishy. The rice that accompanied the salmon was the biggest disappointment, absolutely flavorless. Ribeye steak was not cooked as requested, so it had to be sent back, second time was perfect. Lemonade was too tart but that was forgivable after adding water to it. Great iced tea. Warm table bread was a winner as well. Nicest waitress, she was very cool. 3 stars.

I have been wanting to try for a while. Atmosphere and service was great. Food sadly was a little sub par for this type of restaurant. 3 of us had surf n turf. I opted for the larger fillet which somehow was smaller than the 2 normal ones. Also sadly it was over charred and a little chewy. The supposed 12oz tail also was lackluster and not what i would expect from a slightly pricey restaurant. The side of mushrooms was Great! Brussel sprouts were good as was the sweet corn brulee. The flemings potatoes were mediocre at best. The lobster bisque was delicious. Recommend the “Don’t be salty” drink…Awesome!! We will be back but will change our order up some. Very friendly staff and nice Atmosphere.

I perhaps am not a good one to make this review because I’m not a big fan of steak. I got the sea bass and it wasn’t the best. However since they are known for their steak, I rated my husband’s opinion. He enjoyed the Tomahawk steak he got. Said it was really good nice flavor. We both got sides, he got mashed potatoes neither of us cared for those, I got asparagus which was delicious. Prices are pretty expensive and everything is a la carte but we did expect that when we went. As I was sitting there in the booth I felt like I was in a mobster movie, that is the feel I got from the ambiance/atmosphere. The waiter was really nice but he was not very attending he didn’t really come check on us, I finally got a refill about 5 minutes before we left, and it wasn’t busy so I’m not sure what happened there. Time wise it was getting to be a little ridiculous. We were seated right away of course I had reservations. But to get our food took about an hour if not a bit longer. I wouldn’t go back but my hubby said he’d consider it

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was perfect in every way. The restaurant has such a beautiful, intimate atmosphere — dim lighting, soft music, and a touch of elegance that sets the mood instantly.
The service was top-notch. Our server recommended a wine that paired perfectly with our meal. We had the seafood risotto and the lamb chops — both dishes were absolutely incredible. You can tell the chef knows what they’re doing; every bite was rich in flavor and beautifully presented.
We also loved that the staff took the time to make our night special — they brought out dessert with a little “Happy Anniversary” message on the plate. Such a thoughtful touch!

An amazing spot to savor delicious food, exceptional wine, and impeccable service. While there was a minor mix-up with the order, the manager handled it graciously, even offering to cover the cost of our wine. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed—especially given the high price point. For a bill that totaled over $500, the quality of the food just didn’t match up.
Almost everything we ordered came out either burnt or overcooked. I was honestly too embarrassed to send anything back. The filet mignon I ordered medium was well done, and my husband’s was burnt to the point that he couldn’t even finish it. The scallops were also burnt and very small—just three tiny pieces. Even the cheese on the French onion soup was overcooked and burned.
On a positive note, our server was very kind and attentive. But sadly, the food was a major letdown. If I had known, I would’ve rather gone into the city for a better experience. This just wasn’t worth the splurge.

I visited this place on Thanksgiving to have Thanksgiving lunch. We had three course lunch which included appetizer (lobster bisque or salad), main dish (Turkey & Cranberry or steaks..) plus side dishes (mashed potato and veggies) and dessert (carrot cake or cheese cake).
We really enjoyed their welcoming atmosphere and kind server, and their bread and spread was awesome! One of the spread was pumpkin spiced and was so good.
All of their food was very delicious and we were very satisfied. I think we might visit there again on next Holiday!
