Overall a pretty decent spot in Ann Arbor for a quick bite. The food came out fast and was very fresh. I would definitely recommend the gyro sandwich because the pita bread is so so good. The interior is slammed with stickers and has limited indoor seating supplemented by some outdoor seating. Definitely a little on the pricier side for what you get but not bad at all for the area!

My eggs were black)burned butter)from the griddle. The server came over and I showed her, and she said that’s normal. I lost my appetite. My eggs should have been remade and that wasn’t offered. The Hippie hash with gyro meat was old. On the other hand my son’s breakfast looked great… I’d stick to the basics if I visit again.

The diner is a cool little eclectic space with walls covered in stickers. The servers were all very friendly. I had the hippie hash with corned beef, which was pretty good.

Throwback place. Tiny little diner with a lot of history and character. Good diner-style food with attentive service.
Meaty hippie hash was a solid choice, fresh made and was excellent after adding some red hot sauce.

I don’t know how this place passed a health inspection. The kitchen looked filthy, full of grease and dirt. The food was awful too. Paid $23 for steak and eggs that tasted like a $5 meal — salty and low-quality meat. Also got pancakes with bacon, ham, and sausage. The ham and bacon tasted stale, sausage was just okay. Way overpriced for what you get. Definitely not going back.

I come here every Sunday for the breakfast special since the parking lot across the street is free on Sunday. This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor; service is always very friendly and fast, the food is very tasty, and I love all the stickers. I’m so happy that we have this 24/7 diner in town.

Such a cute Diner. Loved the stickers all over the walls. You must try the Hippy hashbrowns. Never had anything like them. Yummy

I normally LOVE going here. It’s a cute hole in the wall diner but today I definitely had an uncomfortable experience at this location.

I spent $45 on a meal for 2 and thats fineish. But when cashing out and leaving the male manager (I assume he was the manager) stopped us and said “no tip?” And began questioning us on if we had cash or not.

Not only did this man not greet us when we walked in (only the waitresses did) nor did he make our food or serve our food. All he did was sit on his phone and talk INCREDIBLY loudly on the phone like we weren’t sitting right near him. And it was definitely not a short conversation.

Like I said, I love the food here and the waitresses were very chill but the manager was super pushy and rude for a tip that he definitely did not and will not get. I’m all for tipping but I almost spent $50 here and it’s the type of place you interact with your waitress/waiter ONCE!

0/10 for the manger who tried to pressure us into tipping before we left. That’s never okay and was VERY uncomfortable.

It was good, but a bit pricey for what you get….a relatively small bowl of chili for $7? But other than that the atmosphere was pretty chill and was covered in stickers which were fun to read. The Greek salad with beets is pretty good, around $10. The beets – so so good, just wished it came with more than 3 pieces lol. The Greek salad also comes with a pita bread. Also ordered the Reuben which was also solid.

What can I say? If your ever getting the munchies at 4 in the morning ((or any time for that matter)) – The Fleetwood is the place to go!! ((Honestly it’s one of the only diners to go to that is 24/7 in the SE Michigan area)). An iconic diner that’s been around for as long as I remember, everyone who’s from or has been to Ann Arbor has probably heard of it.

I ordered the Three Meat Breakfast #2 and was not disappointed!! The dish was tasty and the portions were large. A full plate of food.

The older waitress was a little salty in her demeanor; but fun to chat with nonetheless. I didnt take it personally because it was 4AM, and typically I am assuming she has to deal with routy entitled college kids.

Overall, not disappointed one bit! I recommend trying it out on a weekday during the late evening or early morning hours if your not a fan of hectic traffic and parking. Downtown Ann Arbor is a hornet’s nest during regular business hours.
