Been waiting to check out this place and it did not disappoint!
The customer service was incredible, wasn’t pestered but didn’t have to look for staff either. Was asked by the owners if I needed any reasonable adjustments as they could see I was in a sling which felt really personal and very thoughtful of them. Nothing was too much trouble.
The decor, lighting and atmosphere were lovely and the visible kitchen area and clever use of the old bank vaults are great touches. Music was enjoyable too.
Service and timely serving of the food was efficient and the presentation of the dishes was superb. The chicken pakora was the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and carefully put together.
Complimentary cake and coffee afterwards was a subtle touch but did not go unappreciated.
Overall a full 10/10 from me! Will be going back soon for sure.

I was genuinely disappointed when the old Spices was closed. Thankfully it was only a sabbatical! The new place is much more cosier and the vibe of the old Barclays bank is there. All the staff are the same and have the same kindness!
The main thing is the food and that did not disappoint
Food was still the same as before and maintains that high quality!

10/10 experience! Obviously used to go to Spices quite regularly! Staff are so so lovely, chatty, friendly and just all round welcoming and amazing. I like the interior design of the place, and that you can see into the kitchen. One of the owners was telling us the story of renovating the bank, etc. Food was immaculate and the presentation was stunning. Always eating with your eyes! I love how they have a coffee station and give out after eights with the bill. All in all a lovely experience, reasonably priced and will be going back for more food. Recommend it all 🙂 also book in advance as it’s quite a small place.
Bring your own alcohol as well, if you want to drink alcohol, as they only serve non alcoholic drinks 🙂 it’s a nice touch!

Visited with my husband for our anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious, arrived quick and was hot. The atmosphere and decor is just stunning and the waiting service were attentive, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing experience, upon entering i was amazed to see the vintage style and lighting creating a fantasice ambience. I could not fault the lamb chips and spicy prawn starters. Service was the best aspect and i was made to feel looked after. I will definately be recommending this place. Cudos to the staff and everyone running this place.

The food is on another level. Every dish is presented with real care and attention to detail, and it tastes just as incredible as it looks. You can tell there’s real passion behind the menu.
