I have driven by it and been a skeptical but oh wow! The food was absolutely excellent!!! A student recommended this place and it was worth the visit. The portions sizes are great. I could have been fine just ordering the pasta, but the sides were delicious. The greens were so good tasted like home. The sweet potato fries were so crispy! The Mac n cheese tasted like home. My husband said his wing was perfect but the chicken breast was a little dry. The seasoning on the chicken was so good. My seafood pasta was delicious. I don’t even like tomatoes but I ate them. Our server Michael was so sweet and took care of all my husband’s requests with grace. It’s a pretty penny but it’s worth it and I appreciate that kids can eat free on Wednesday and Thursday. Definitely a cute late night date night vibe. Will be back again. Our drinks were very strong. I was tipsy after 3 sips.

OMG! First time here and I will definitely be back. I had the seafood egg rolls as my appetizer. For my entree I had oxtails, Mac n cheese, jasmine rice and greens. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned! My friend had the turkey legs, greens, Mac n cheese and dressing and she was throughly impressed as well. I had so much food left over for a second serving. Our server (Michael) was awesome and made sure our experience was ideal! It’s nice to have a local restaurant with GREAT food! The oxtails were so good!!! Price point was pretty decent for the amount of food you get.

Had an amazing experience from welcome to farewell!!! The ambience was excellent with great lighting & music. Food was extremely tasteful & to die for. I enjoyed the turkey wings, dressing, greens and kale & Mac & cheese as is on menu. OMG & plenty of food for your money! Michael provided me & my friend with superb service.

The food was mid, Corn bread was hard and dry, wings and catfish a bit bland, collard greens were decent. Overall the food just needed more seasoning, also regular and strawberry lemonade was extremely sweet, just loads sugar in them. The food is a little overpriced, service was good no complaints.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The music was amazing and all the staff very courteous especially our server, Michael. We came for the fried chicken, it was perfect. Don’t miss out on the banana pudding either.

The service was good, the pork chops was tough, mashed potatoes was bland and cold, spinach artichoke dip was very good. The candied yams was very good and the mac n cheese. The greens were sweet. The lemon pepper wings were good. The chicken sandwich was dry. Great atmosphere. Also, they need better utensils, the knives were very dull. Fried okra was very good.

Very nice place to eat. We’ve only been Sundays, but the vibe is always great. The soundtrack is awesome as well. It often has us staying longer than we should. Everything that we’ve had so far, we’ve loved (chicken, fish, oxtails, chicken n waffles, mac n cheese , collards, yams etc.) All I can say is PULL UP for yourself and get the full experience! The owner ALWAYS shows us love, and we ALWAYS have great customer service. We will definitely return.

Wasn’t sure at first because of some of the reviews but baby this place is so good everyone was super kind and friendly easy to order and really good specials! I will definitely be back. Had a party of 3 for to go and everyone including me loved the food & the drinks. If you need a quick home cooked meal, no bathroom accidents and a friendly experience come here!

Everyone was friendly and attentive! Our waitress, Mikayla (sp.) was great. Even when things got busy, she made sure she had what we needed.
We had the Hennessy Mimosa. It was so tasty! We ordered the chicken and fish dinners. Both plates were seasoned well and really delicious! We are planning on making this our weekly Sunday spot. Go support!
