The oxtails were not good nor Jamaican by any means. I took one bite and was like no this aint it. It tasted like they used just brown gravy mix with no seasoning what so ever. No scotch bonnet no oxtail season no pimento no anything. We ended up giving our meals to a hungry couple near by. We were visiting from out of town and had a craving for oxtails Caribbean style. I will say they do give large portions but it just was not good. Here in Charleston we have two spots that are our go to for Jamaican oxtails and I even make my own and even my oxtails taste better with no decent from the island.

My first time ever eating Jamaican food and it was good. My family and I ordered a combo of rice with peas, plantains, chicken and cabbage. My family said they loved the chicken and while I did enjoy the rice with peas I feel it needed just a bit more flavoring. But the plantains were absolutely great tasting! The ambience is quiet and relaxing and the ladies at the service counter were very nice and friendly, and good music playing in the back. All in all it wasn’t a bad place at all and does get really busy from what I saw.

This was my third time eating here, and I’m highly disappointed. I ordered the oxtails with extra gravy, and even the peas and rice had a burnt taste. The food was honestly disgusting, which is very frustrating after giving this place multiple chances. I expected much better quality, but unfortunately I won’t be returning.

We love Jamaican food so every time we’re out of town, we love checking out all the Jamaican restaurants. We ordered to go and the food was so tasty. Since we had already ordered so much food we didn’t bother getting the soup but the server heard our conversation and she handed my husband a cup of soup on the house!! Let me tell you this soup was THE BEST!! I regret not ordering my own bowl! I called the next day for the same soup but they were making fish soup that day!! I will always call them whenever I’m in town to see if the conch soup is on the menu. On the weekends, food is a little more expensive than weekdays.

Ordered oxtail large size. Definitely needed more food. Went heavy on the rice and extremely light on cabbage and main course ( oxtails). For the price paid ( 27 dollars and change),you would think you’ll be getting more oxtails for Large, more cabbage, another side and at least 2 plantains. However that was not the case. Food was mediocre , nothing to brag about. No flavor at all. Rice had a tent of burnt, bland taste. Cabbge was bland, oxtails were just okay.

Used Uber eats to order to our job. The oxtails were good and flavorful, very tender and fell of the bone. The stewed chicken was really good, maybe the best I have had. . Macaroni was different than what I’m used to but it was good as well. The cabbage really didn’t have much flavor though. Other than that the food was very good. This was our first time ordering from here and we would definitely order again.

Best Caribbean food by far since I’ve been in Florida. Great staff, food is Very flavorful and authentic. And can’t beat the prices. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for good eats without a very expensive bill.
