I came to Flavors of India based on the reviews and they were all correct! This was the BEST Indian food I’ve ever eaten! I started with the samosas and a mango lassi. Heavenly! I ordered the Paneer Tika Masala for dinner and a garlic naan. I can not tell you enough how savory, flavorful, and addicting this meal was! It’s the next day and I’m STILL telling people about it! I will say, the restaurant was a little tricky to find. Google maps took us to the Indian market out front. Drive behind the building. The restaurant is located behind the market. Now, go! Go today! You will NOT be disappointed!

I just have to rave about Flavors of India Restaurant in Evansville, IN! We ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken, and rotti, and it was seriously the best ever. I can honestly say it was even better than what we had in Dubai, UAE! Truly outstanding! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to this hidden gem twice in one week! Our first time there the host was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The first time we ordered paneer pakora as an appetizer and on the host’s recommendation the samosa. The batter on the paneer was light and crispy, the perfect accent to the soft mild cheese. The samosa were flaky and flavorful filled with soft potato and other veg. Absolutely delicious.
We had planned to order Chana masala, however the host recommended the chole bhature instead. A fragrant, spiced chickpea stew that was served with this amazing, puffy, flaky, chewy, buttery flatbreads. Absolutely addictive!
Also on the host’s recommendation Paper Masala Dosa, a massive, delicately thin and crispy rice flour crepe filled with lightly fried potatoes, mild chilies, onions seasoned with a delicate spice.
The last dish we tried was the Goat Kheema. Tender ground goat in a flavorful and spicy sauce. Perfect to spoon over fragrant basmati rice or scoop up with naan bread.
Our second visit was on Sunday afternoon. This time we opted for the pain puri. These are thin crispy shells filled with spiced potatoes, chickpeas topped with sev. (Teensy weensy fried noodle sticks made from chickpea flour) They are served with Pani Puri sauce which you spoon into the shell. It is an experience all on its own.
We loved the chole bhature so much we had to order it again. Just as impressive a second time around.
The last dish we ordered was chicken biriyani. Fragrant , delicately spiced basmati rice with chunks of juicy chicken. Maybe the best bjriyani I’ve ever had.
The staff is friendly, the decor has is lovely and the food is delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The food was perfect!! Just the right amount of spice. The chef and manager were very welcoming and obviously love to serve their patron. We love small, intimate places and this fit the bill.

I have been here 3 times and the service and food is unrivaled. I used to frequent Yak and Yeti but this will be my new spot. Chevk out the size of this paneer in the tandoori paneer! #paneer4life came with several of those pieces.

Phenomenal Indian food! Nice selection of dishes, many of which you just can’t find anywhere else in the area. It’s not a fancy place, but is clean and the staff is friendly. To get to it is a tad awkward; you have to park on the backside of the business’ market. Flavors aren’t skimpy and medium heat spice level is legit. Is becoming an absolute favorite place. Expect different flavors and a to-go box. Haven’t had the chance to order appetizers, as the portions are so generous for entres.
