This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. We ordered from the menu although a buffet was available for $20 per person. We ordered all vegetarian selections including the vegetable samosa, paper masala dosa and vegetable uthappam. We look forward to trying more items from the menu.

Several great delicious items on the buffet. Saag paneer was spot on, I usually don’t eat chat masala cuz I don’t like chickpeas but their sauce was so good and the chickpeas were not dried out.
Also their tandoori chicken was unique compared to other places it had like a zing similar to a squeezed lemon on the outside. Delicious. Finally the lamb biryani was really good and moist. Watch out for bits of bone.
Please are excited that they usually have hakka noodles, one of our favorites.
And Aneesh brought us chai with cinnamon stick when we were having dessert. Great friendly atmosphere.

The food was good ad was the service. The place looks beautiful with umbrellas hanging from the roof. Quantity of the dishes served was generous. I loved the fresh naan. Next time I would opt for a high spice level as medium was mild for me for Indian curry.

Very kind staff and delicious Indian food at reasonable prices. The Malaya corn was addictive although a bit chewy. Their butter naan was soft, pillowy, and some of the best I’ve had. I liked the vegetable curry and the lamb Rogan josh was flavorful and full of meat. Will definitely return to try more

Food was great, flavorful and portions were big, staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Butter chicken and Lamb chops both were mild spicyness and were superb . And I got too adventurous ordering goat curry and to be “spicy” It was supper tasty but it kicked my butt… it was delicious but was spicy! In a good way!

I highly recommend this place! The food is top level out of all the Indian restaurants I have been in… oh also their lentil soup is very good .

This place was great. The interior design is clever and appealing. The owner was very attentive and stopped by to check on us several times. We tried a variety of chicken, fish and lamb dishes. All were tasty!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! From the moment you walk in, they make you feel like you’re VIP. The warm ambiance is inviting and the decor works perfectly with the restaurant’s overall vibe. The service is spectacular and, hands down, the best I’ve had in East Coast. Words don’t do it justice. The mouth-watering menu options are so unique that you’ll wonder why in the world you waited so long to visit. There are so many flavors and tastes that you must experience! I would say please visit Flavors of India .

I am so glad we came to this place on a rainy Sunday on one of our drives.
The service was very polite and friendly. We were asked about our favorites and offered various options from the menu. The palak chat was to die for. Perfect blend of fresh and crunchy. My kids wiped the plate clean. The kabab platter was very fresh. The Salmon kabobs were not fishy at all. The chicken kabobs were very moist. The spices were just perfect.
After debating on the very appealing options, we settled for the goat curry, lamb bhuna and butter chicken.
The goat was full of meaty cubes (not just bones like other places). Lamb was very flavorful and without that heavy fatty taste. The butter chicken while sweet had a good tomato tanginess. We did get an onion kulcha, garlic naan, and roti. The garlic naan had a nice garlic flavor baked in not just sprinkled on top. Onion kulcha was very flavorful and complimented the meat very well.
We topped off the fabulous meal with a pista kulfi, and gaajar ka halwa. The warmth of halwa complimented the child kulfi very well. Each of them stood on its own though.
We will keep going back here and mostly very soon.

Really pleasantly surprised by this spot. En route to a concert a Merriweather pavilion, this place had loads of great vegan options, all clearly marked, all surprisingly delicious. But somehow, the thing to not miss here was the Bombay Mule, an alcoholic drink. The mule cup was a bit too big for the drink portion…but once you look past that it’s a treat. Highly recommend!

Had an excellent early dinner at Flavors of India. The restaurant recently (mid-June 2023) changed to a new owner/manager, Hikmat(?) – young, enthusiastic, with ideas for gradual improvement. But he said he is definitely keeping existing staff – a welcome bit of news because the chefs produce amazing and delicious food here!

We started with their pickles – very tasty with lots of spice, the followed up with a couple soups. Rasman was again savory-spicey, and apparently a staple with the owners’ family. If you like tomato soup with a kick, this is for you! Sweet Corn Soup was also good, but a little too much like canned cream corn to be a favorite (although in general this is one of my favorite soups at our regular Indian resto). We also ordered the cheese bread which was fresh and …cheesey- yum!

Entrees were fairly standard Indian dishes popular with Americans – Butter chicken and Lamb Vindaloo. The chicken at level 2 spiciness was a creamy balance of savory and spice. The Vindaloo at level 5 was a strong inferno of spicy flavors enveloping lots of chunks of lamb and potatoes. Ample portions provided leftovers for another meal as we left well satiated.

The owner mentioned they will be bringing back the buffet, with a few changes from previous instantiating, so something delicious to look forward to!
