Excellent take out and one order of tandoori chicken is enough to share. I make my own raita but an order to go with the naan would be good. There are two sauces for the papadams

I was mostly disappointed in the value of the food we received. We ordered the Curry for two. The rice and bone in chicken was enough food for two however the actual curry chicken and the salad was only a single serving. Not really a complete meal for two. As for taste, it was okay. Nothing that knocked my socks off like the 4.5 stars it was rated. Unfortunately are favorite thing was the chicken rice. It was fluffy and wonderful. The chicken had more flavor than both of the other chicken dishes. The bone in chicken and the curry chicken were both dry. The curry sauce itself was extremely watery. I am really not sure what kind of dressing came with the meal. It was a mixed taste of ranch and tzatziki sauce. As for the atmosphere, this is definitely a take out place only. Not welcoming at all. Half of the seating area is taken away by storage. Two of the four tables available were covered in food crumbs. There were zero customers inside the restaurant. On a positive note the people were extremely kind and polite.

I had a weird encounter at this restaurant. I came to pick up an order and asked the owner before leaving if I could use the restroom, before providing a response, she looked me from head to toe, and then agreed to allow me to use the bathroom.

The order I was picking up was not for me so I am not a customer but even if I had considered trying the place which I did take a to go menu, that encounter alone made me throw it out and decide to never visit or support this business. No class and poor etiquette.

Authentic Indian dishes. The taste was fantastic. Service was also good. My only qualm about this place was the atmosphere. The place is very small and badly maintained.
I would definitely recommend this place for taking-out delicious Indian food, but not for dining-in.

This place was a delight to come visit again. The first time I had the chicken tiki marsala with garlic naan, tea and a desert. This time around it was just as great. The staff was polite but could have been a little better at keeping the water glass full. They didn’t mind us staying a little late. The food is awesome and they’ll make it as spicy as you wish. “Level 5” is plenty hot but I’ve tried it at an “8” with a side of spicy sauce to try it hotter with a few bites and let me tell you, I could only handle one bite with the extra sauce. I now call this side of sauce “the eff you sauce” because if you add it, your eff’d. Haha. All in all I will continue to come back because it’s that good.

I’m honestly shocked the reviews are good because the food was just not good. I’ve had a lot of not so great Indian food but this was inedible. The vindaloo was extremely tomato-y (tomato in vindaloo?) and sour with absolutely no flavor, like spicy pasta sauce. Potatoes were rock hard and very little lamb. Even the garlic naan had little hint of garlic and was thin like a cracker. Over $60 for two dishes and naan and we had a few bites and threw it away, shame.

The Flavor of Punjab is located in the Naples Island community of Long Beach, CA. We are so happy that this Indian restaurant is here. We really needed a quality of this caliber in 90803. My favorite is the chicken tika masala. Usually order it with medium spice and it is consistently delicious. Head over and enjoy!

This restaurant is by far one of my favorite resturants of belmont shore, if not the best! The food is delicious, the service is very kind and the price is very reasonable. Portions of curry are big so we always have leftovers, which we love. I recommend this place to everyone I know.
