Very chic and upscale look with warm and friendly environment. Called ahead for reservations for my fiance birthday and staff was kind and friendly answering my questions regarding ingredients as he does not eat pork products. The owner came and greeted us after arriving and even gave a free appetizer in addition to the one we ordered because he wanted us to try it. And let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves on the food. Just know we will be back! (Pictured is a full fried red snapper with collard greens and Mac n cheese, Glazed lollipop lamb chops with mashed potato and green beans, fried catfish nuggets, Collard green dip with pita chips, and sweet potato cheesecake.) Flavor House absolutely lived up to the hype. The oxtail was melt-in-your-mouth tender — rich, flavorful, and clearly slow-cooked with love. Every bite was worth it.
We came with a birthday crew, and the staff was incredibly attentive and kind, making sure our table was well taken care of the entire night. Drinks were delicious, the sweet potato cheesecake was a standout, and they also had great gluten-free options, including salmon bites that were absolutely delicious.
It’s not really a place geared toward kids, but they still made it work for us since the birthday mom was dying to try their Jamaican food — and we’re so glad we did.
Amazing food, great service, and a perfect spot for a birthday dinner or date night. We’ll definitely be back. ✨

Everything from atmosphere to the food was incredible. First time eating here and I was introduced to the wonderful combination of salmon in a cheese steak. I was beyond impressed with the meal. The owner stopped by to check on us multiple times. I made sure to let him know how great everything was. Staff was all very friendly. Will be back for sure!

I would rate this restaurant a 10/10. The atmosphere was amazing! The restaurant was so beautiful and elegantly decorated. Our server was so delightful. I got the Salmon dish and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and I could taste the freshness of the green beans. The manager was very sweet and came over to ask how everything was. I will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends!

First time back to Flavor House at their new location in the 130 building. Great experience. They have found a great vibe in this new space. Got some cocktails and the fried red snapper before a show at the Schuster Center. Mac and cheese and collards were so tasty! Highly recommend checking out this spot!

First time visit. They were short on help. Took more than an hour to get our food. Had to hurry and eat to get to a show. Average food. Waitress was nowhere to be found. Drinks never got refilled. They did give a discount. Won’t go back.

The appetizers were great, The atmosphere was beautiful, but our Meals were not good. The menu is amazing though I feel like if they have a different chef or some pointers and tips it will be amazing. I’ll definitely try again and hope they can get better from there.

We had our holiday luncheon here and they did an amazing job! The private room, decor and centerpieces were stunning and our servers knocked it out of the park! Food was wonderful and much fun was had by all! Highly recommend!

For appetizers we had: Flavor House Rolls with chicken-they were delicious and served with sweet chili sauce.
BBQ chicken wings – also delicious.
For the main dishes: Caribbean rum glazed salmon, which came with garlic mashed potatoes + an additional side, which we picked greens – we loved everything but the greens. For us, they had too much vinegar, but I know that’s definitely a per person thing.
The Lollipop Lamb Chops were listed under the special, and I’ll definitely want to know how long they will be serving it because the Lamb was cooked to perfection. Like I took my first bite and had no regrets . The green beans were cold and extremely overcooked, but the lamb was so good I didn’t care. I waited until the end to let the waiter know because I don’t like sending food back. He did offer to replace them, which I declined.
For dessert, we both had the sweet potato cheesecake. My mother loved it and I thought it was okay.
The service was excellent. Im so big on customer service and he had some of the best service I’ve received in a long time. The waiter was polite and made sure to check on us and ask us if we needed anything. We will definitely be back to try some more of their dishes. The waiter also mentioned Sunday brunch which we plan on trying out very soon.
The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. The restrooms were also clean and fully stocked.
Parking was easy, but we did go in the morning on a Saturday (1130am) and parking is free on weekends and downtown had not started to get busy yet.
