Hands down delicious sauces paired with chicken and beef belly. My wife and I had the Beef Belly and “Seattle Style” skin-on chicken plates and they did not disappoint. The sauces they offer elevated both dishes. We tried the Asian Chimichurri, Garlic Aioli, Bellyaki Glaze and Verde Sauce. They sauces alone are definitely worth coming for. Aside from the food, the owner, Johnny (hopefully I’m spelling it correctly) was very hospitable and shared with us his journey for opening this gem. Definitely will be spreading the word and coming back!

I was dubious about the reviews and assumed they had just given free food to influencers. Still, I had to try for myself so stopped by for lunch.
I regret to inform you and my wallet that this was the best chicken and rice I’ve ever received from a takeout spot!
The skin was perfectly crunchy and the chicken is moist, very reminiscent of Hainan chicken. I upgraded to garlic rice (+$2) and feel like that should be the default because you’re really missing out if you don’t upgrade! Portion size was fair for the price. Definitely try the sauces; I got two of the sauces at no extra charge as well.
At $23 pre-tip, this is worth the splurge for an end-of-week treat yourself lunch or dinner.

I first checked out this place because I wanted to try their Seattle Style teriyaki chicken. I didn’t know what that was. The one I tried had a very thin, delicious, crispy chicken skin layer on some of the chicken, and juicy meat as well. The garlic rice was buttery. Came back here for more! Btw, my personal favorite sauce I’ve tried there was the green Asian Chimichurri… it was a little sweet, tangy, some fresh herbs. And they gave me a big portion of chicken

FIRE. Brother & I drove from Las Vegas and HAD to stop here. Everything 10/10. food was crispy and flavorful, sauces were on point. My personal favorite was the bellyaki with the Seattle style skin on chicken. The beef belly was awesome with the chili churri and the garlic aioli sauce. Shout out to the boy Johnny (the owner). Don’t hesitate, get some flavor in your bellies

Staff are friendly and professional. I have tried the seattle style chicken and the new beef belly. I prefer the chicken as the meat to rice ratio is higher. The asian chimichurri sauce i great with the seattle style chicken. I’ll add the photo of the chicken if I ever go back.

This location is located inside the Haven City Market, just a heads up for people trying to find it.
I ordered the Seattle Style Skin On Chicken and it was delicious. It came with the steamed rice, mac salad, and the salad. Considering it was chicken and rice, goes to show with the right seasoning and sauces it can be delicious.
It is a little pricier than I’d like to spend, but it’s definitely worth a treat every now and then for some good chicken.
10/10 would recommend and come back

This food is fire.. It has a casual, fast‑food / food‑stall vibe: quick service, simple setup, no frills. The kind of spot you go for satisfying, flavorful bowls rather than ambiance. The teriyaki chicken, OG teriyaki chicken (grilled) are hella good, tender, nicely glazed, satisfying texture. For a couple extra bucks, swapping standard rice for garlic rice is a recommended move. Adds flavor, aroma, character. The variety of sauces is a highlight. Folks mention things like “garlic aioli,” “Asian chimichurri,” and “Bellyaki glaze.” The sauces seem to be a big part of what elevates the dish, offering contrasts to the protein and rice. Sides & Accents — Cucumber and macaroni salad (when included) are appreciated for adding textural contrast and a bit of brightness. Portion Size & Value — Many reviews mention that the portions are generous and the value is good, especially compared to some fast‑casual places. If you’re hungry, this spot tends to satisfy.

I ordered to go and the beef belly was delicious well portioned. Nice umami. The garlic rice did not disappoint. Great flavor without being too salty. The macaroni was delicious. I’m usually not a big fan. Well seasoned and one of my biggest critiques is that most people don’t put pepper or enough when it comes to the macaroni and they did. The lettuce had a nice sweet sauce and was crisp and refreshing . Honestly, this plate made me think of hibachi. Especially when you enjoy the mango sauce and garlic aioli The mango sauce has excellent heat and the garlic sauce has a cool creamy sweetness. I was jumping back and forth in my rice with those flavors and even mixed the two together.
I ordered a side of chicken but I forgot to make it clear. I wanted the skin on chicken not the teriyaki. I understand the side chicken they show on the picture is the teriyaki would have been nice to try. By the way, the teriyaki chicken is basic in my opinion. It might be a little better than yoshinoya but not by much.
The teriyaki sauce is basic not bad but nothing stands out. I didn’t try the Asian chimichurri The cucumbers are refreshing. I wish they were part of the plate. I think they’re a little pricey though for a side order.
