Wow—what an amazing surprise! Every single dish was absolutely delicious, and their jerk chicken wings were unforgettable—we kept thinking about them for days after!
On top of that, the service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. We truly loved this place and can’t wait to come back again!
– This restaurant serves the worst rice and peas, not only are they bland but the rice was overcooked and mushy. Pre chewed.
– The plantains were just as awful, not only are they unappealing to the eye and taste nothing like Jamaican plantains.
– Lastly, the jerk chicken was severely underwhelming. Dry, tough to chew, unseasoned, bland flavor, no spice. I asked for extra gravy to be put on the side. I was surprised to be given this tiny jelly consistency sauce that was not even anything reminiscent of jerk flavors.
Overall, the food being made in the kitchen lacks integrity, much like the service provided. Save your money and eat somewhere that will leave you feeling satisfied rather than hungry for more flavor.
I spent $140 to get six individual pieces of oxtail when I ordered four orders of oxtail. I also got the jerk chicken….incredibly unflavored jerk chicken…
In the past, I would get between four and six pieces oxtail of varying size per order!!!
I called the store and some dude answered the phone and demanded I come to the store to negotiate with the chef about my issue…. To which I gave him a prompt ” pls”
I was under the impression. Jamaican spoke English-patois as a first language…I speak very good English, and he acted like he could not understand anything I was saying, despite him being clearly Jamaican.
Absolute disappointment, waste of money never ordering again.
