I really wanted to like this place because the menu looked so good but honestly our food what very bad, the main issue being the meat. My wife and I ordered the brisket salad and brisket Ruben respectively. The brisket was completely over cooked (honestly not even sure why they tried to serve it) to the point of us not finishing our meals. I had to drink water as an indication to how dry our meat was. Super disappointed.

Mac n Cheese complete devoid of flavor.

I would stay away with so many other great choices in the area.

Disappointed on last visit. Normally a good place. Food tasted warmed up and left over. A bit unusual. It could’ve been an off night. Will go again but, guarded.
The tater tot appetizer was a surprise. My girlfriend loved it, a lot of familiar flavors. I found it, plain.

My wife and I recently had dinner at Flatts Smokehouse. We were in the mood for some brisket and BBQ. It was a wonderful experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It’s a super casual spot and down to earth vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The person helping us, Nicole, happended to be the owner. She shared that her and partner purchased the restaurant two years ago and have been building the business over time. Nicole was able to guide us through the menu and helped us select the BBQ plate with three meats three sides. We had brisket, pulled chicken, sausage with peppers and onions. For sides we had baked beans, cole slaw, and fries. We also tried the corn bread. All were great… especially the brisket and sausage. We have a diary allergy and everything we had was dairy free…even the tasty coffee bread!

A great place for some good foods. Good sized portions at reasonable prices. We highly recommend giving Flatts a try. It will be one of our go to spots in south county!

Amazing fries for only $5! They give you so many. way better cheap option better than McDonald’s which is about the same price. We walked in at 9 o’clock when the kitchen closes and the lady was so very nice and put our fries through anyways! Thank you so much it was hot and delicious and we will be back!

Glad I search google food this time around. Really wanted something not the same – found this place. Looked like a house from the outside but once inside, small bar and about 8-10 tables. Started off with nachos with chili. Has to be the one of the best chilis I’ve had in a long time. All of the meals were a very good size and tasted great. Highly suggest the beef brisket – amazing. Def has a locals feel to it – less touristy. Really surprised it wasn’t more crowded – just off the beaten path of the beach town and most likely why it wasn’t as busy? ‍♂️

We loved our server, the place had a fun vibe, all our sides and drinks were yummy, however our pulled pork was dry and tasted more like burnt ends. We love good BBQ and get it whenever we can when we travel. We were hoping to have a good one near our new home, but going back to making our own pork at home and looking for another place. Wanted to like it more, but the dry meat was unfortunate.

Nice place to eat. Great server! We shared a platter with 3 meats and 3 sides. The ribs and pulled chicken were awesome, the pulled pork was a little dry. The Cornbread was really good.

food was subpar. I got the burger and it was super watery and greasy with no flavor, I believe it was most likely frozen. my partner got the brisket and it was super dry and tough, the flavor was okay but nothing crazy.

The service was great and our server was very nice. The food did take over 30 mins to come out and there was hardly anyone in the place. the beer we had was good, but I wouldn’t recommend for the food.
