I had the crab cake with fries and coleslaw and a cup of New England clam chowder. Crab cake was filled with lots of crab meat and tasty. I loved the coleslaw it’s definitely on the sweet side but that’s how I like it. Fries were thin and crispy with a slight coating on them, not really my cup of tea, but I know lots of people like their fries like that. Soup was good, flavorful and thick.

The service was wonderful and atmosphere was really nice with open air bar

Well, where do I even start?
Let’s just say the hostess deserves an award truly the only saving grace in this entire adventure. She greeted us warmly and got us seated quickly at 6:00 PM on 10/14/25. After that… things went downhill faster than a dropped pizza.

Our server was clearly multitasking for the entire restaurant, so service was, let’s call it, “optional.” We ordered mozzarella sticks and wings — big mistake. The sticks were dry, over-fried, and had more breading than cheese, and the condiments were apparently on flavor vacation. The wings? Dry, bland, and suspiciously “frozen aisle chic,” served with celery and ranch so watered down it could’ve been a drink special.

Then came the pizzas. Oh boy. The bruschetta pizza was decent — and that’s where the compliments end. The margherita pizza? Burnt to a crisp, flavorless, and honestly a crime against cheese and dough. To top it all off, we even got a complimentary “gift from the kitchen” — a lovely hair. Five-star presentation on that one!

When we mentioned the issue, the server did remove the charge (thankfully), but at that point, the damage was done. Sure, they’ve got happy hour and trivia nights, so if you’re there for cheap beer and chaos, maybe it’s your scene.

As for us? This was our first ever negative review — which should tell you everything. We checked the glowing reviews before coming… maybe we just came on “burn everything and forget the seasoning” night.

We stopped here on the way to FL. Late afternoon on a Saturday. We were able to eat outside with our dog. We ordered Strawberry Shrimp Salad and the Grilled Chicken Avocado on a wrap. Both were delicious and would stop by here again, if we were in the area.

This was my first time at the Bluffton Flatbread location and WOW, seriously WOW! Everything was outstanding. The service: We sat outside with our pup and the bartender, Lynn (in training) immediately brought a bowl and water for Rosie. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip and the drink special, the Kentucky Buck was perfectly made. This was Savannah’s first time making it so she clearly knows what she’s doing behind the bar! The buffalo chicken was one of the best I’ve had. But I believe the pizza stole the show! We had the bruschetta pizza and it could challenge the likes of my favorite NYC pizza joints. It was thin crust, perfect melted mozzarella cheese, finely diced red onions, fresh tomatoes& basil, and the best balsamic glaze ever! I love it here!

Good experience here. The drinks were great and the food was good. Highly recommend the Tito’s Mint Blueberry-ade. The chicken sandwich was good, really liked the seasoning on it, usually comes with French fries but I substituted it for Cole slaw at no extra cost. The waitress was very friendly and everything came out fast and hot. Definitely a spot to come to.

Just a great spot with a great staff! Especially on “Margarita Mondays”!! Savannah is great and makes the best cocktails …including margaritas and their seasonal specials…yum!! And Lynn is delightful! Great service, great smile, lovely attitude and wonderful sense of humor. And the flatbreads/pizzas were delicious!! I’m a fan of the vegetariana on cauliflower crust and my dad loves the black and blue. Thanks for a great evening. I think we’ll make this our regular spot on Mondays!!

The food overall was okay. Their flatbreads are pretty basic, lacking much flavor. They had some gluten free options labeled, but as we looked at the menu there were other options on the menu that were gluten free but not labeled correctly. I also ordered boneless chicken wings, I asked about a certain sauce and the waitress said it was sweet and sour, but when I ate the wings the sauce was actually sweet and spicy, quite a difference. The boneless wings were the best item I ate. Any advice I could give would be to elevate the servers knowledge on the menu.

Absolutely best evening on the outdoor porch area. It was cold outside but the heaters they have are a gem. Tom was our waiter and hands down the BEST. He took care of everyone and I really enjoyed how down to earth he was. Never pushy at all. This was my first time dinning in for a company Christmas Party. The pizza, shrimp tacos and warm brownies were AMAZING. Definitely have a new place for dinner and lunch!!!!!

I wanted to give them more stars, but in all honesty, they have a lot to figure out. This was our third visit. The second ended with us walking out after sitting at a table for 10 minutes after being seated, and no server came to the table. The same thing almost happened tonight except that one server walked by as we were getting up and said she would go ahead and take our order.

There are just too many other restaurant options to have mediocre food and lousy service. The food isn’t anything spectacular. It’s average at best. My “pizza” was burnt on the bottom, and my wife’s salmon was overcooked.

I hate to say it, but they have some tremendous challenges to overcome if they are going to be successful. For the price, I think there are better options.

Flatbread isn’t just their name. Unfortunately, it speaks to the overall experience. I hope they can get things figured out because I really want to see new businesses succeed, but I’m not too optimistic.
