I’ve been coming to the Daytona 500 for the past 8 years, and FlapJacks has become our staple breakfast spot every single trip. The service is always excellent, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.
A special shoutout to Dawn — she somehow remembers what we normally order even though we’re only in town once a year! That kind of personal touch says everything about this place.
If you’re in town for the race (or anytime, really), this is a must-stop breakfast spot. Great food, great people, great experience every time.

Decent place to get a classic Americana style breakfast. The service was great. Bathrooms were clean.
The Jack stack pancakes were huge, even though they used fresh blueberries they had a weird hard texture that our kids didn’t enjoy. They were a bit bland but I’m guessing it’s because the older typical crowd requires less flavoring in foods.
The biscuits and gravy were decent, a bit salty, but that expected from the sausage. The biscuits were soft and fluffy. My eggs were slightly overcooked for over medium eggs, but I still enjoyed them. The bacon wasn’t the best quality.
The breakfast bowl was definitely a hearty dish.
The corned beef hash was tasty.
All in all a good and hearty breakfast experience, just what was needed for a long day on the road.

My husband and I had seen this place many times and had wanted to try decided today was the day. Stopped in there was a line however the gentleman said he would get us right in and he did. Service was phenomenal and the food oh my. I am weird on how I like my food cooked and I explained to my waitress and it came out perfect. We will absolutely be back and will being family when they come to visit. Wish we had stopped in sooner.

Amazing brunch spot! Food is 10/10 and the customer service is outstanding. Props to the new owners for making this place feel like you’re eating at home. Must try the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and the home fries. Best in town!

Always loved this place but now under new management and now accepting credit cards made it better. They added many new foods to their menu. Great job on the upgrades especially the tv. Loved my buffalo chicken wrap with fries.
