Flanigan’s is a laidback family-run restaurant anchored by a commitment to exceptional food and drink, warm hospitality, great value, and good fun. A beloved South Florida institution since 1959, the Flanigan’s name is pretty much synonymous with good times. The founding vision of Joe “Big Daddy” Flanigan – a come one, come all, home-away-from-home for friends old and new – is alive and well today. Over the years, Flanigan’s evolved from popular Big Daddy’s lounges and liquor stores into a group of over 20 restaurants. The design of our bars and restaurants is all about the island vibes and saltwater adventures that reflect our deep South Florida roots. And, oh yeah, those Legendary Baby Back Ribs…
American eats & seafood are served at this local chain restaurant & sports bar with plenty of TVs.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I was honestly blown away by how reasonably priced everything was. I ended up ordering one of Joe’s Meal Deals—half slab of ribs, baked potato, Caesar salad, garlic rolls, and a soft drink—all for just $19.99. You seriously can’t beat that.
The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, super juicy, and packed with flavor. The rolls were warm, buttery, and garlicky—absolutely delicious. Everything from start to finish was fantastic.
Flanagans is one of my go-to spots. This specific location is new to me, but as expected, it did not disappoint.
I took advantage of the incredibly great deal from their 11am to 4pm lunch specials. I indulged in the “Fresh 10 ounce Burger with Potato or Rice”… of course, I chose fries. The meal was prepped within minutes.
Victoria, the waitress was so sweet and welcoming. Very down to earth and relatable. I look forward to sitting in her section again within the near future.
Thank you to Victoria and this entire staff/location for a great and much needed lunch break 🙂
This time, we went in the afternoon on Sunday and there were 2 bartenders. One older one by the name “Patty” and the other younger one, I didn’t think to get her name. Anyway, the bar was slow and they just kept passing by us with no acknowledgment for a solid 10 minutes. Seriously! Finally, the younger one came over, not too excited to help us but did. The older one never once looked at us. She never said hello, can I get you a drink, maybe a menu, nada. After we put in our order, these ladies came in and as soon as they sat down, they were acknowledged with smiles and were greeted by their names and got their drinks immediately. We had to wait 10 minutes when the bar was slow! The food took a long time to come out and when we finally got it, the broccoli wasn’t cooked enough. Way too raw. I didn’t bother to say anything because I knew I would have been looked at as a complainer (which I’m not). The bartender Patty kept cursing which I find extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Then more people came in and these were apparently regulars who got their drinks right away. By the time the check was given to us, we were met with kindness all of the sudden from Patty. That’s when it’s time to put the tip in. The other bartender was long gone from even asking if we wanted even a box for our food.
All I can say is that this isn’t the place it used to be. Poor management is to blame for this. If I was management, I would have taught these servers and bartenders that all patrons should be treated equally. Not just some. It seems that these bartenders don’t like serving people they don’t know or aren’t use to. Such a shame.
Mexican Monday? I hope you like lettuce and beans. You guys do know that chili has meat in it right @Flanigan’s? And after sending the nachos back because they tasted spoiled, we were still charged.
I don’t usually write negative reviews but honestly, I love this brand. I have been to this location many times hoping that they might turn the corner, however, it seems to be getting worse.
Us native South Floridians take pride in our local Flanigan’s. And we are loyal. I will not return to this location for a time. But when I do, I expect greatness. Because Flanigan’s is a great company with a great product. This location just needs some help.
