Flanigan’s is a laidback family-run restaurant anchored by a commitment to exceptional food and drink, warm hospitality, great value, and good fun. A beloved South Florida institution since 1959, the Flanigan’s name is pretty much synonymous with good times. The founding vision of Joe “Big Daddy” Flanigan – a come one, come all, home-away-from-home for friends old and new – is alive and well today. Over the years, Flanigan’s evolved from popular Big Daddy’s lounges and liquor stores into a group of over 20 restaurants. The design of our bars and restaurants is all about the island vibes and saltwater adventures that reflect our deep South Florida roots. And, oh yeah, those Legendary Baby Back Ribs…

American eats & seafood are served at this local chain restaurant & sports bar with plenty of TVs.

Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill is a well-known casual restaurant chain in South Florida, popular for seafood, BBQ ribs, and a relaxed sports-bar atmosphere. The restaurant is especially famous for its Baby Back Ribs, which are slow-cooked and served with barbecue sauce, along with fresh seafood dishes like mahi-mahi and shrimp.

The menu is large and includes burgers, wings, steaks, pasta, sandwiches, and oversized desserts, making it a great place for a hearty meal with friends. Portions are generous and prices are considered reasonable for Miami, which is why many locals visit regularly.

The atmosphere feels like a classic American bar and grill, with sports on TV, fishing photos on the walls, and a lively crowd. Many locations also have happy-hour deals and stay open late, making it a popular spot for casual dinners or drinks.

Short personal review style:
Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill is a classic South Florida spot with a fun bar-and-grill vibe. The baby back ribs and wings are flavorful, and the portions are generous for the price. It’s a great place to relax with friends, watch sports, and enjoy hearty comfort food.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this location! The ribs are incredible. Lunch specials are amazing! Everything always comes out hot and fresh. No outdoor space but other than that love coming here!

Was on a staycation in Broward County and wanted to get some good food late night after coming from Miami Beach for the day. Noticed a Flanigans was nearby and ordered the ribs combo. We loved it as always!

Ordered the firecracker shrimp on 10/30/25 around 1pm and found a large piece of plastic mixed in with the lettuce, which my cousin was chewing on before he realized it wasn’t lettuce. Called the manager over and told him about the situation and it felt like he didn’t take it serious. He offered to replace the appetizer, my cousin wanted the entree and he claimed he could on give 50 % off. I was the one paying for the meal and I felt insulted. We could have avoided me telling the world to be careful eating here because they might leave plastic in your food , if he had provided proper customer service. I will never eat her again and will let anyone who will listen not to go there. See pictures

First time going here as the couple we were with have been here and really enjoyed the food. The wait was about 5 minutes when we got there. Service was excellent, the waitress was very knowledgeable, and had to check on the prime rib to make sure it was not sold out yet. We were able to get a 12 and 8 ounce prime rib. We order some mozerall sticks for appetizers. We ordered for dinner, a full rack of ribs, 12 ounce prime rib, 8 ounce prime rib,and a bacon cheesburger. All food was hot, and I chose the baked potato as a side with the prime rib. Everything was cooked just right. the prime rib was tender and really did not need a knife to cut it. The dinners came with buttery rolls. Everyone was friendly and the manager went table to table to see if everything was okay. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you get. Would go back again.

Probably the worst bartending experience from beginning to end that in 50 years I have been through. I am sure and with great confidence this long-standing establishment will choose better representatives to display through their service the proper atmosphere That hopefully in time will be restored to this place. When the bartender, upon greeting her, tells you she hates her job, It doesn’t set the best mood for anyone within an earshot. The barmaid’s Name was Malibu, and I hope she finds a job she loves, so the welcoming tone can soon return to this place. This happened at the Flanagan’s on commercial in Oakland Park.

This small establishment lacks customer service entirely. If it rains, you’re in trouble if there’s a wait. The food takes forever to arrive and is cold. The only saving grace is that it’s still the same Flannagins you get everywhere else, except at those other places you actually enjoy your dining experience

Best ribs I’ve ever had and wings made EXACTLY how I like them. Go on Sunday through Thursday and take advantage of their insane meal deals. Ranging from like $14-$25 (depending on what meat you choose) you get 3 incredible garlic butter rolls, a fantastic little Caesar salad with such a good subtle dressing that really made it stand out, a GIGANTIC cup of soda with unlimited refills and your choice of a rice or potato. We all went with the homemade curly fries (think hooters curly fries) and you get a ton of them. The ribs are charred on a fire grill first before basted and baked with the bbq sauce and you can really taste every layer of flavor individually and all at once. Truly special. The wings are exactly how I like them: big, juicy, flavorful and crispy while only being slightly sauced. Utter perfection. My gf got the fried shrimp but I didn’t try them so I can’t really review them but she said they were just “ok.” Youngest kid got the chicken tenders and said they tasted a bit fishy, I didn’t really get that and they gave you a lot of tenders but the tenders weren’t part of the meal deal so his meal (that he didn’t eat) ended up being the most expensive. Lol. Can’t recommend this place enough. If I had discovered this place on any day that HADN’T been my last day there, I’d have gone back. $16 for 10 wings with all those other things and $25 for a full rack of ribs with all of those other things? Nobody else can touch this place in my opinion. Oh, and you get to take your soda cups home as a souvenir! Can’t say enough good things about it and even though I didn’t get the nachos, I SAW the nachos and they looked insane. If I had to nitpick one thing, I would say that what was up on their board as “steamers” are just little neck clams where I come from. Still good but definitely not the same thing we call steamers back in Connecticut.
