Reviews
Our server, Marina, was prompt, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and fun.
She was patient with our questions and always available when we needed her.
We had (my apologies because I can’t find the current menu online or I’m in any recent review photos) a starter of potatoes with a peanut sauce, fried rice, and a tender spicy chicken dish that came with two dipping sauces. We enjoyed all of them.
This is our second visit together to Lazeaway and we were pleased to have such a wonderful Valentine’s Day experience!
am!gas..food was delicious and drinks are amazing
The bibimbap is so good!! Would definitely recommend. The steak and fries is also really great. The poke and the chicken bao can be nice to share or good meals.
Would love to come back again during the holidays but also just during the year.
I came on a Saturday night and all I can say is MAKE A RESERVATION! The hostess had a line of walk-in’s and that wait was over 40 minutes. The service was extremely friendly, the food came out quickly. The drinks seemed to be backed up. Our server apologized about the wait on the bar. My group tried 4 different drinks off the special menu, and they were super tasty. Food tasted great and was presented nicely. I was a little bummed that they didn’t have any of the little swizzle sticks left but it’s really not a big deal.. I just collect swizzles. I ended up purchasing a MerSanta mug. Lastly, the to- go containers are nice! It seems kind of weird to mention but they provide a very sturdy container that seems like it’s biodegradable.
I spent $22, tip included, for a sticky rice, sweet and spicy tofu dish. Kids approved of the fries. Expect lots of kids. Good assortment of meat dishes too.
I met some nice people who didn’t like that the menu was not fully informative. For example, my tofu included snow peas. If you care, ask the staff, they are very helpful, even when swamped.
The bibinbop is said to be great;
I’ll try it on a meat day.
The host and the waiter were both working hard and going out of their way for people.
Enjoyed a Prix fixe dinner on New Year’s Eve.
Started out with the egg with brioche. The egg was nice and delicate with a yolk that delicately oozed over the brioche.
Second starter was the Ahi tuna with caramelized banana, black beans and chili oil. Amazingly, everything went very well together. I hadn’t tried caramelized bananas before and I was surprised by how well the ingredients worked together. Great dish!
I had the short ribs for my entree. Solid dish. Beef was cooked perfectly and the meat was very tender and flavorful.
For dessert, shared the Thai iced tea pudding and the cake . Both were delicious. The pudding was unusual and was very rich. The cake was executed exceptionally well! Very light and balanced.
Would definitely come back again for more delicious food!
