I want to recognize Nicky for her outstanding service during my breakfast visit the other day. From the moment I walked in, I was met by the owner, Edmund. It is clear that he takes immense pride in his business; the restaurant is clean, organized, and the staff is incredibly professional in their approach to serving customers. It was very impressive.
I especially loved how personable Nicky was—she even sat down for a moment just to say hello before I left. She truly brings back that ‘hometown diner’ feel that has been lost in most restaurants today. Edmund should be very proud to have established a place where the community can enjoy wonderful food and fantastic service. You can really tell they care about their customers.
While Nicky did a fantastic job, I also want to mention that the rest of the waitstaff is outstanding. Even the gentleman collecting the dishes is always polite and quick to clear the table. From beginning to end, this is the number one place to go!

Really nice staff. Had the combination omelette with home fries and a coffee. Was very delicious and was able to get consistent refills on my coffee. Very busy place but it wasn’t a very long wait, however I did dine alone.

My wife and I tried Flamingo Cafe for the first time. It was around noon on a Sunday. We had breakfast! First we were greated by Edmond, the owner, who was working hard to make sure every guest was happy, but there was more to it, he legitimately gave the very strong impression that he was grateful for his guests, and that is unique and rare. The place was filled with miling faces that only repeat happy customers have. Food was very good and the service was great. We will be back and we highly recommend you try it as well!

My first time visiting and Nicky my server was awesome and so kind and attentive. A few frequent flyers (repeat customers) were present. Which told me its a great place to relax and have some delicious food while visiting with friends.

We recently visited Flamingo Cafe for breakfast and left very disappointed. The entire place felt neglected and unclean, with a noticeable greasy film covering the tables, kitchen areas (visible from the counter), bathrooms, and even the plates. Everything looked and felt grimy and unappetizing.
The food itself was equally underwhelming: the butter was smeared cold and pasty on the toast instead of properly melted, and the overall meal tasted overwhelmingly greasy. What should have been a simple, enjoyable breakfast turned into a thoroughly unpleasant experience.
We cannot recommend this restaurant in its current state. It desperately needs better management oversight and quite possibly a thorough health inspection from the county health department to address these serious cleanliness and hygiene issues.
If you’re in the area and looking for a clean, reliable breakfast spot, I’d suggest going elsewhere until improvements are made.

I am so impressed! I decided on a whim to take myself to breakfast before doing a little shopping and found this little place in an online search. Well, let me tell you that it was AWESOME. I had California eggs benedict with home fried potatoes, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Hollandaise was definitely NOT from a package and portions are plentiful… I left with a box. Service was amazing and it was just a great experience. This is my new go-to!

This awesome restaurant has a comforting vibe. I loved the absence of TV’s! My Swiss burger was delicious and the fries were perfect. Oh, the sweet tea was amazing, too! The staff was very kind. I hope to visit again.
