Great food, and a lot of food for a small price! I was expecting to still be very hungry once I left after only ordering their $13 3 rolls (18 pieces) and miso soup combo, but the rolls were pretty large. Tasted great too. Nice, home family/feeling restaurant. Can definitely see myself coming often. Most other sushi places in Virginia Beach price gouge criminally for sushi, and are so expensive for nothing.

This place is a hit or miss. I came here twice, and I don’t think I’m come back after my latest visit. Both times the service were kinda slow, about 25-30 mins for 2 takeout items for both times.
During my first visit, the chicken teriyaki and beef with shrimp teriyaki were amazing and good portions with that price. Good amount of sauce and ingredients were fresh.
During my second visit, the chicken with shrimp teriyaki I had was nothing like my first visit. The chicken was okay but there is not enough sauce for the rice so it was just plain rice. The rice was supposed to be fried rice but it looked/tasted like white rice with the sauce from the chicken mixed into it, so I had to put soy sauce in the rice to make up the supposedly “frued rice”. The shrimp was inedible cuz it smelled and tasted bad, like seafood spoiled bad.
The key to me coming back to a restaurant is consistency in quality and service. The staff was nice but I don’t think I’ll be coming back if they even decided to serve spoiled food to customers in the first place.

Ordered uber eats from this place. My order was the beef and shrimp habachi udon noodles. The meats were so dry that it was hard to swallow. I asked for extra spicy, and it was not only not spicy at all, but also they charged me some spicy hot sauces. Will never order again.

I’ve been there for the past 6 years and each time, their fish portion gets smaller and smaller, this time around, all I got is fish skin and fat! Back in the day it used to be 9.99 for 3 rolls, now it’s $12.50, but somehow the fish got smaller? I’ll never come back to this place again, 9.99 sushi was the only good thing it had going for. Otherwise the quality is just plain terrible!
