Went here with my son for his 4th birthday. First off, the restaurant is very clean, even the bathroom, which I loved. The atmosphere was very nice, not loud at all. The staff was very friendly and professional. (I do know the 2 waitresses we talked to) I ordered the chicken marsala with rice pilaf and soup of the day, which was the loaded baked potato soup. The chicken was nice and crispy and cooked beautifully, and the mushrooms were cooked well without being mushy. The marsala sauce had good flavor, but was too salty. The rice pilaf was good, but was slightly overcooked and too salty. The loaded baked potato soup was very good, and seasoned beautifully. I did try my son’s chicken strips, and they were cooked very well and had very good crispy breading. My drink (an Arnold Palmer) was good. I ended up drinking 3 of them. I paid about $42 for my meal, my son’s meal, and my drink. To me it was not worth $23 for an oversalty chicken dish. I would be willing to pay maybe $15-$16 max for the chicken marsala how it was. That being said, I did enjoy my meal overall despite the saltiness, and it is definitely worth stopping by and trying their food. I will definitely be back, and if the food is not too salty next time, I will change this 4 star review to a 5 star review.

This place was great. Tiny town with amazing character. The restaurant was as cute as can be. The food was amazing with unbelievably huge portions. Everything was great that we tried but everything coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely fantastic. The owner was on top of it! She makes this restaurant, making sure everything is going well. Just top notch all around. The mural beside the building is spelled wrong but that’s just kind of the charm of this little town

Overall my party and I thought this restaurant was great and we would all return! Service was excellent. Bar made excellent cocktails.
They have a nice menu and everyone enjoyed their food. I got the raspberry chicken. It was pretty good but thought it was very pricey ($24) for just chicken and rice. Wish there was some veggies on the plate to make it feel a little more full. Highly recommend their stir fry. A lot of food and veggies for the price. Overall great place and the area definitely needed a restaurant like this. Support local

We had a delightful evening! The place was nice and clean & the food was delicious and home cooked! I had their lasagna and my husband had a steak. Our friends had the salmon and the shrimp dinner. Lucy & Tina were great waitresses, and the service was impeccable! The owner (and everyone else) was.very friendly and she was definitely on top of everything! .. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we definitely will be returning soon! Thank you!

We were greeted with a smile and it only got better from there. The menu had an excellent variety of food actually making it hard to decide what to order. The fire roasted salsa was delicious! My ribs were cooked to perfection and were very tender. We finished the carrot cake. My husband and I agreed that we will definitely be back soon!

We stopped in Maple Hill and ate at Flaming Grill. We had steaks (grilled sirloin for me and house tenderized/breaded country fried for her). Excellent Angus beef, perfectly baked potatoes, and attractive side salads. Everything was great. Wonderful service from a woman who acted like an owner (she could be). The rest of the menu looked great. We’ll be back! Give it a try…it’s an easy drive from Topeka.

AMAZING! Must get dinner here! Food was absolutely delicious, we had saganaki, and then I had the salmon and salad with rice pilaf. The salmon was cooked perfectly. My dad has the chicken Parmesan and chili and he loved it! Our server Lucy was very kind and attentive
