Awesome spot for enjoying Indian cuisine in Tampa. Seems like family managed, calm ambience and nice service. Covers most of the major recipes and well prepared food with great taste and flavor. Reasonable price and quick service without much wait time. Perfect to satiate your hunger and good experience. The peaceful environment is ideal for dining. However, I was little upset that I could not get the masala dosa and other south indian cuisines. I recommend checking menu online before hopping on.

Just like the name the food is Amazing quality every time! The dishes are rich in flavor, never a long wait time, and the staff is helpful and friendly. My absolute favorite dish is Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of Garlic Naan. I would also recommend trying a Mango Lassi! I have had several different dishes, and they are amazing every time, so anything you order will be worth it. I love it, and will be back again very soon!

The food was very authentic and bursting with flavor. I had the Flames Special Chicken Biryani and garlic naan bread. Very relaxing atmosphere and rapid service. Very large portion for your money. Bring friends to share your entreé with or just bring home what you couldn’t finish for outstanding leftovers. Very glad I chose this place. If I come back to Tampa, I will be here to try other dishes.

We dined for lunch .The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their food was delicious, chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely delicious, the Saag chicken was also very good. I will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for good Indian cuisine.

Flames is my favorite Indian Restaurant; I’ve been ordering take out from there at least a couple times a month for the last three years! My go to is the Paneer Butter Masala, the Garlic Naan, and the Samosas. I usually split it with my son or save half for the next day. My second pic of my “leftovers” is when I split the order with my son; the leftovers didn’t make it into the fridge, they were gone after I took the pic ( ). The food is always so good! I love ordering takeout from Flames on those Sundays where I just want to binge a show on Netflix while enjoying a delicious meal.

Initial visit – arrived at 121, and we were rushed to order for a 2 pm closure. We ordered the samosas(average, not much flavor), flames special naan(average, not much paneer), and chili chicken(very tasty, plenty of sauce). Entries were very good. Butter chicken(tons of sauce, which was very flavorful), shrimp biryani(good but not much shrimp). Service was average. Small location with traditional decor.

Pleasant surprise here. Very clean restaurant. Excellent service. Terrific flavor and texture and spice and quality to the food. Rare to find all three of these at most Indian Restaurants. The cleanliness and service here ranks among the best ever when it comes to Indian establishments. The food also ranks as some of the best as the food seems to be made with a lot of love and the spice used nicely to bring out the bold flavors of India. The garlic naan is a perfect compliment to any dinner. All dinners are beautifully made with the well balanced bold spices you expect from this cuisine. You will also enjoy the aroma of the spices as your dinner arrives. The tandoori selections are all beautifully prepared. If in Tampa and desiring the flavors and spices of India, this is your place.

I picked up a to-go order today at lunch time and I have since found two separate very dark hairs in my butter chicken. This is a huge bummer given I have eaten here several times with no known issues until today. I will sadly not be returning, as I am very disgusted by the quality of my food 🙁

On a busy Saturday evening, I decided to have dinner at Flames Indian Cuisine. Although the restaurant was crowded, I didn’t mind waiting for a table as the wait was brief. I opted for the paneer, which turned out to be absolutely delightful. Alongside that, I ordered the lamb biryani, which was packed with flavors and tasted amazing. I specifically requested medium spice, and it was the ideal level of heat for my palate. Overall, I had a great time and I’m excited to come back again.
