Social Profile:

Flame Broiler is a healthy, quick-serve restaurant famous for its Korean-inspired menu with high-quality ingredients, craveable sauces, and charbroiled cooking. Young Lee opened the first store in 1995 to serve his community food he’d want to feed to his own family. Decades later, Young, along with his three sons, are still leading the company’s mission to connect people to healthier food that tastes really darn good. If you don’t believe us, just ask the Lee family – they still eat a bowl almost every day with no signs of slowing down.

Simple fast-food chain preparing Korean-style meat & rice bowls with no dairy, trans-fat or frying.

Recently went here for a regular sized Chicken bowl, with brown rice & green onions (pictured), and a fountain drink. Total is just under $10.

Let me tell you, Aurad at the counter of this Flame Broiler is THE best at customer service. He gave me sauces, told me about specials, hooked me up with salad dressing, bags to hold everything, helped me with the specials, and was so polite and kind! If you are looking for a leading example of customer service the way it’s supposed to be, this is the way! Wow, I’m absolutely coming back to this location because of this young man!

This is for the FB on Alicia Parkway. They don’t seem to follow the chain prices and have raised their prices. You pay $10.50 for a bowl while at other FB, the price is 8.50 which is reasonable for the amount and quality of food. I asked and they said prices went up a year ago which isn’t true. I got 4 bowls and paid close to $40 because I had a $3 off coupon. For that price I rather go to an actual restaurant. They have lost a loyal customer.

Pedro is awesome!! Seriously, he told me straight up for the avocado addon it’s half the avocado not just a few slices like some places.. then i was waiting for my order and before i was able to go in to pickup my order, Pedro brought my meal out to my car with everything loaded. They even put the jalepino in my food!!!

I thank the chef and everyone else as well for their excellent service!!

Forever customer

The cashier person that was bagging my food and taking my payment was not wearing gloves and he came from the kitchen. The food was good but I prefer that staff are following covid regulations. His mask was also below his nose. That’s not how you wear a mask. It defeats the purpose. I want to be safe knowing that my food is being handled by servers wearing gloves.

I spent almost $30 on two chicken bowls via GrubHub, but the driver said the store refused to provide any magic sauce because “it wasn’t listed on the order.” The item listing on GrubHub says it includes “two magic sauce” and “one hot sauce.” In fact, in order to manually add magic sauce to the order you must pay an additional $.25 per sauce. Despite this, the staff person says they were not allowed to provide any sauce unless explicitly included on the order.

They need to get their GrubHub situation sorted out and also inform their staff it is entirely appropriate to provide sauce to customers when a driver informs them it was supposed to be included in the order.

This is not a good look for the company and seriously makes me question ordering from them again. All over a small container of sauce?

They saw me at the door and immediately let me in even though it wasn’t quite opening time. The chicken/beef combo with kimchee was done to perfection! This location seems to be better than most. Good food &service
