Flame Broiler is a healthy, quick-serve restaurant famous for its Korean-inspired menu with high-quality ingredients, craveable sauces, and charbroiled cooking. Young Lee opened the first store in 1995 to serve his community food he’d want to feed to his own family. Decades later, Young, along with his three sons, are still leading the company’s mission to connect people to healthier food that tastes really darn good. If you don’t believe us, just ask the Lee family – they still eat a bowl almost every day with no signs of slowing down.

I spent an extra $6 on a plate rather than a bowl and I got the same amount of rice and meat as a bowl with a side of unflavored yard clippings and half an orange that was sliced in the most brain dead way I have ever seen. Also the orange peel wasn’t washed and there was dirt on it. Why is there so much yard clippings, and why is there no salad dressing on it??? The meat and rice were decent, everything else is trash. Don’t buy the plate, get the bowl. Also go to a different location, this one begs for tips. I wouldn’t visit this one again.

The food “seemed decent” enough… wait for it! The people were friendly and I have no complaints there. But the next morning I got “D” so badly. I was able to pinpoint what I ate to this place because the only other thing I ate that day was something I’ve eaten before, and since without getting “D” from it. I had beef & chicken. My brother said it was probably the chicken.
I’m sorry to say this too. My only complaint was that they didn’t have enough outside seats.

The chicken with rice and veggies came with very little veggies. The rice was dry and slightly undercooked. The chicken itself was tender and moist, but barely lukewarm. The half and half bowl was terrible. I like spicy food, but the spicy Korean chicken had no flavor other than just spicy and the beef bulgolgi was also drenched in the spicy chicken sauce and tasted nothing like bulgogi. The meat was also completely cold!

The cashier by the name Lorena was really rude me and my partner were being so polite asking question and she would answer sarcastically mind u she is Hispanic as we are and got treated horrible she picks and chooses who to the polite too cause other 2men went in and she was so polite to them I’m not making it a race thing but they were white and Filipino.whoever hired her as a cashier needs to train her again very rude.

Ordered mixed beef/chicken. Was happy to discover I could skip the rice and eat it on a bed of veggies. It doesn’t come with sauce already on it, but there’s a sauce bar, and their magic sauce is delicious. The slaw salad also comes plain–the lady behind the counter gave me some sesame sauce to go on it. I tried it and didn’t really like it; didn’t taste of sesame at all to me.
But the star was the meat and veggies, so I give it 5 stars. Tasted great. You can tell the steak was marinated. Chicken was seasoned nicely.
Oh, also, the orange they gave me with it just wanted great. Don’t know why. Sometimes you just get non-sweet, non-tangy oranges. Luck of the draw I guess

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EAT HERE. I recently ordered a beef bulgolgi bowl with veggies and brown rice and inside the rice I find A MAGGOT, this restaurant needs to be evaluated I didn’t eat much of the bowl but I will never be eating there again and I’d advise others as well

Ordered the regular half and half bowl with white rice and a side of brown rice. Both rice looked the exact same and both were undercooked, pretty sure rice isn’t supposed to be crunchy. What’s worse is that it made me sick the whole next day. Don’t go there

The lady refused to give me more than 5 sauces although I had 5 bowls. So one sauce for bowl? That makes no sense. The food is plain and flavorless without the sauces so it’s pointless. Will be going to a different location from now on.

This is the only location that has ever tried to charge me for sauce. There isn’t a sauce for us to put on the bowl itself, so you try to nickel and dime your guests, haha. The staff is bland, the service is very much gtfo, and the food surprisingly isn’t as good as other locations like on Del Amo in Cerritos. Wouldn’t come back, just to be petty and not support this location.
