Things started out good. We saw many meats within the first 20 minutes or so. Then 15 or so mins go by and we received some requested well-done meat for one of our out-of-town guests. 20 mins later they ask how we are. We said we’d like some meat. They brought back some prime rib and flank steak. That’s it. Nearly 40 minutes went by with empty plates. We sat around thinking we’d get a second chance to eat the sausage or various chickens or that bacon-wrapped thing. Finally everyone said they were leaving. I waited with the cash. Not just to pay but out of curiosity to see how long it would take for anyone to even notice. Ten or so minutes later the waiter comes in asking where everyone went. He said they were going to provide cake. It was $450 dollars so I gave him $600. It wasn’t until then we flipped the coin to red side up. Should’ve stuffed him but he seemed like a good kid. There’s no excuse for this kind of mismanagement. I told everyone how Brazilian steakhouses work and how you will get so full and try so many things that you’ll put the red flag up or flip the red side of the coin up. It was just a disaster. At least three of us had dinner somewhere else later that evening. Every other Brazilian steakhouse has left me full through the next day. It was supposed to be a big deal.
We were sat in corner of a row of 4 empty tables. We both visited the salad bar and within 10 min my husband flipped his coin over for meat service. We watched multiple meats being walked around but never to our row or table. After we watched this happen with 6 different meats, I flagged one of the servers down as he was preceding to walk past our row. He asked for our patience as they were busy. We asked the waitress for Picanha which did show up but nothing after that (it’s like she assumed that is all my husband wanted). Finally one more choice of meat and pineapple. 40 min into our dinner (husband was pretty much just watching me eat from salad bar) the manager stopped at our table. We explained how our row continued to be passed by and we had watched multiple servers deliver meat to tables behind and around us. She asked for us to be patient. To be patient when we see EVERYONE around us being served? After her visit my husband miraculously received the service he deserved. As we were finishing up another couple was seated at the other end of row. Within minutes of them flipping their coin the servers were in line at their table waiting to give them their choice of meat. To ask for patience is understandable if we were being unreasonable. Watching servers walk to every table but ours is not acceptable. To use the ‘busy’ excuse when we watched them go to every table multiple times around us is not acceptable. It’s obvious they have a specific route for the meat service and failed to notice that we were sitting in the otherwise empty row. Instead of taking accountability, the manager, along with the servers, insinuated we were just impatient.
The salad bar is great, and the options are too.
The food was just okay, any meat with garlic was almost to much to eat, even the lamb chops which are my favorite. The bacon wrapped meats had bacon that was way overcooked. We even had filet that had no seasoning.
To end the evening a 13 dollar desert of cheesecake had a slice that was so small, this was not normal for the Flame.
The salad bar had an array of items including oysters, prosciutto, salami, sushi, rice, lobster bisque, and an entire wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano!
Our waiter Justin was awesome! Very attentive and polite.
We started with white wine sangrias which were great.
The meats came out fast and were cooked to perfection. Very Very tender and juicy. Accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, fried banana, and Brazillian cheese bread. Absolutely delicious!
For dessert we shared a creme brulee.
It was the best creme brulee we’ve ever had.
It’s pricey but definitely worth it in our opinion. Absolutely amazing experience! Needless to say, we will be coming back!
I skipped a lot on my second visit because it was boring, bland. And redundant.
The service was great we will be back.
Expect to spend about $100 apiece for a satisfying experience. oh, one more thing… Having affordable wine was a nice courtesy for us average guys with humble budgets. THANKS,
See ya soon!
The meat was either super salty or bland. The salad bar was messy with food spilt and not cleaned up.
We love steak and live nearby but I am done with this restaurant. Who wants to pay a couple hundred dollars to eat at a table full of dirty dishes….
Could not get drinks or refills on water
Our server was nice but never came around to check on us. The restaurant was very quiet and almost empty on a Friday night. I expected them to provide much better service. I am very disappointed for the price we paid
